The the food is excellent quality handpicked. We started with the lentil soup.Excellent! We had the branzino and the hanger steak.Taking advantage of the miami spice, both dishes were great. In addition, the service we received from Sandra was top notch most definitely one of the top coral gables restaurants to visit
The culinary artistry here is phenomenal. Every dish feels like a masterclass in classic Italian flavors. The handmade pastas are the true star of the show—cooked to a flawless al dente perfection with rich, deeply flavorful sauces. Will definitely be back.
We had 5:30 reservations at Zucca for Mother’s Day and were seated promptly by a very kind hostess. Unfortunately, the service went downhill from there. We weren’t greeted by a server for at least 15 minutes. Eventually our waiter came over with water, but he seemed rushed and uninterested from the start. Another 15 minutes passed before he took our drink order, and we ended up ordering everything at once because he was so quick to leave the table. No recommendations, no check-ins, and anytime we needed something we had to flag him down ourselves. As for the food, the Fiori Di Zucca Ripieni Di Caprino E Miele Al Tartufo were absolutely divine, easily one of the highlights of the night. The octopus was disappointing, chewy and lacking flavor. The pumpkin ravioli was just okay and I wish the sauce had been creamier. The Linguine Alle Vongole was very good, probably our favorite pasta besides the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe with truffles, which was hands down the best dish we ordered. The mushroom tagliatelle wasn’t what we expected at all, the sauce was much thinner and waterier than anticipated. We ended up skipping dessert solely because the service left such a bad impression. Overall, while a few dishes stood out, the experience as a whole didn’t feel worth returning for.
ALWAYS a good choice! Brunch at Zucca in Coral Gables is always a guarantee of high-quality food, and this visit confirmed it once again. We started with a burrata with prosciutto crudo and fresh focaccia :simple, fresh, and very well executed. From the prix-fixe brunch menu, we chose the tuna tataki with avocado and of course fiori di zucca (A MUST TRY!) as a starter, which was light, fresh, and full of flavor. For mains, we had the branzino, cooked perfectly and very delicate, and the beef tagliata with french fries, tender and satisfying. Everything paired beautifully with a bottle of Fiano di Avellino, and we ended with espressos. Service was excellent , attentive, professional, and consistent throughout the meal. A reliable spot in Coral Gables for a refined Italian brunch. Flavia Sent You 🤍
My sister took us to this restaurant, having been there a few times and raving about the delicious food. And she was right! We decided to try the pre-fixed brunch. The appetizers were fantastic, especially the Crudo di Pesce del Giorno—raw fish that was incredibly fresh. The Vitello Tonnato was creamy and flavorful, while the Tagliatelle bolognese was a hearty and satisfying dish. The ravioli di Zucca burro e salvia was also delicious, and the Tagliata di Manzo with French fries was a perfect combination of tender meat and crispy fries. But the real highlight of the meal was the dessert! The desserts were simply divine. The ambiance of the restaurant was elegant, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Our server, Santiago, was particularly helpful in suggesting dishes that we might enjoy. He was spot on! I can’t wait to return to this restaurant. It’s definitely a place that I’ll be coming back to for sure!
