The warmest restaurant service I have ever experienced anywhere. Everyone was so lovely and attentive. We wanted stone crab but were told they have it but the season is in October. And we were shown the fish we ordered at our table to decide between a fillet or the whole fish. Very honest and informative service. Their seafood is fresh and prepared well, and their back deck overlooking the river is the perfect setting for a meal. I would love to come back again and again to try everything on the menu.
Seafood place in Miami with good local vibes by the canal. Was expecting more of the food, as they did not had fresh crab this week. Staff was kind to let us taste the frozen and later decide on the dish. Seafood platter was good, big portion serves 3+ but I was expecting more on the scallops . I’m celiac and all went well for gluten free seasoning
I’d been wanting to try Garcia’s for a while, hoping to enjoy a nice lunch with my family overlooking the river. The setting didn’t disappoint, and the food was good—nothing extraordinary, but solid. The service, however, could use some improvement; maybe it was just the server we had. Overall, it’s still a nice spot worth checking out.

On the ground floor, there is a seafood counter displaying different sizes of stone crab claws and other fresh catches, while the actual restaurant is upstairs. I highly recommend sitting on the outdoor terrace on the second floor — the river view is very relaxing and pleasant. We ordered large stone crab claws, which were very fresh and flavorful. The restaurant had already cracked the shells for us, so it was easy to eat — a thoughtful detail that we really appreciated. We also tried the Chilean seabass; the fish itself was nicely cooked, though the portion was a bit small. For sides, we chose mashed potatoes and fried plantains, which were just average. We also ordered a bottle of Kim Crawford, it was match perfectly with our seafood. The prices are on the higher side, but overall the ambiance and service were excellent, making it a worthwhile experience — especially if you want to try stone crab in Miami.
