Hot food!!! I'm always amazed and pleased when any restaurant provides Hot Food to your table. Kudos to the operations for managing Hot food with appetizers and entrees. The wait staff were absolutely incredible! Ask for Ebony if you can! 💯 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 Brunch must try for my taste buds, Devil Eggs, Jerk Wings, Sweet Potato Waffles (Wow!), and the Seafod Grits. The outer signage could use more visuals. Not easy to see the glass print, that blends in the background. The neighbors signage is large and overbearing. You can easily assume the whole block is another restaurant. Definitely a loud party vibe, sooooo come ready to sing along and talk loud 😒 🤔
We were visiting from the U.K. On arrival there were queues as the booking system down. But, we only waited around 10mins. Host was great and helped with menu choices as it was our first time. Drinks could’ve been stronger considering prices.. Devilled eggs and Seafood grits are top tier! Good portion sizes, food was delicious and I would return in the future. Thank you!
My husband and I visited Nouveau Miami on Saturday over Memorial Day weekend. Although we had a reservation, we still had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. It would have been a nice touch to offer a glass of wine or something small to compensate for the delay. The restaurant itself has a lovely ambiance, which we really enjoyed. However, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of a dress code. I made sure my husband and I dressed up, thinking the restaurant had a more upscale vibe, but that wasn’t the case. To my surprise, some guests were dressed very casually—women in extremely short shorts as if attending a pool party, and men in tank tops and fitted caps. It definitely didn’t match the “fancy” experience I had anticipated. The service was just okay; it seemed like each server had too many tables. That said, we weren’t in a rush, so it didn’t negatively impact our overall experience too much. The music was great and added a nice vibe to the space. I wasn’t in the mood for cocktails, but unfortunately they didn’t have any red wines available, which was disappointing. The highlight of our visit was definitely the food—everything was flavorful, and the portions were satisfying. The chef clearly knows what they’re doing in the kitchen. Overall, while there are a few areas that could be improved, we would definitely return for the food the next time we’re in Miami
Good vibes and music is great. Food came out fresh and hot. My waiter was amazing nevertheless very smart. Spoke to manager about when eye saw and he assured the concern is being addressed. Price is reasonable.
I went here for my birthday with my sister and our server Frenchie was also celebrating her birthday! Listen! Frenchie made our day! She was absolutely amazing and I was heartbroken to find out that she works at the GA location however Frenchie was a gem! She recommended our dishes and everything was amazing! She was so vibrant and a great time! Even on her birthday she clocked in to help others enjoy their day! Frenchie you were absolutely the best! The only issue I had that day was arriving to the location for my reservation during dinner hours, I arrived approx. 30 mins early however we had to stand in the hot sun and wait to be let is which should have happened around 6:15pm but we weren’t allowed access until about 6:30 although some other guests had 6:15 reservations. I highly suggest reservations but not to close to the opening time as you may have to wait outside in brutal weather and the owner was outside but I had to ask for clarity as she never addressed her guests to at least make us aware as to why we were outside. This needs to be adjusted or at least let people sit at the bar until it’s time to serve food again. This is not a reflection of my visit afterwards but it was a bumpy start! Great job to the chef as well! All of the food we had was a hit! My rating is a direct reflection of my server and the chef!
