Niu Kitchen feels intimate, architectural, and quietly confident the kind of restaurant that doesn’t need excessive theatrics because the food and atmosphere already speak for themselves. The dark polished floors, warm wood shelving, soft lighting, and open kitchen create this effortlessly cool Barcelona-meets-downtown-Miami energy. Even before the food arrives, the restaurant feels curated and intentional. It’s minimalist without being cold, stylish without trying too hard. The Michelin recognition honestly makes complete sense once you experience the balance between the ambience, service, and food. What stood out most about the evening was how every detail felt cohesive. The oysters, octopus carpaccio, tartare, clams, arroz, and desserts all carried the same philosophy: refined but deeply comforting. Nothing felt overworked or pretentious. The plating, the flavours were bold and layered, and the quality was exceptional throughout. A true hidden gem that feels far more like a special discovery than a trendy hotspot. Absolutely deserving of the Michelin recognition.
Great option in Downtown Miami. The place is casual food is flavorful. I loved the tomato bread and pear desert was phenomenal! Octopus was good, seafood rice was rich and flavorful but a bit too salty. Shrimp were ok, not my top choice I felt they lacked flavor and the sause was a bit too oily
Outstanding Spanish concept, it felt really authentic like if you are in Spain, server talking to you with their accent loved it, and professional and very goo in customer services. Food wooowwww amazing, to share concept i recommend to go with the menu flow and order more than 3, 4 plates to enjoy, with some Spanish beer or wines so good. Please goooooo
Niu Kitchen is one of the finest Spanish dining experiences in Miami. After visiting twice, I can confidently say the consistency in both service and food quality is exceptional. Their pan con tomate, charbroiled oysters, and Spanish rice dishes are standouts — authentic, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. It’s easy to see why Niu Kitchen is recognized by the Michelin Guide. The service is attentive and refined, creating a dining experience that feels both special and welcoming. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates true Spanish cuisine in Miami.
Small but well designed restaurant with a nice ambience. The service was wonderful - we really enjoyed all the staff. The boquerones with the tomate were delicious, we ordered it with a side of their toasted bread which was the perfect crispy exterior & soft fluffy interior. The steak tartare was fantastic - had ours topped with a soft fried egg to add that luscious yolk. Paella for main course - was a special with rabbit & escargot. Finished with the creme Catalan - delicious.
