Pretty good food, generous portions and friendly service. We didn't wait long for our food, but it came in a bit of a random order, where some guests got their plates before others, and the appetizer came in between. Beware of the 20% service charge they add. We spent almost $50 per person.
WOW!!! This place is an absolute gem. We shared several dishes and every single one was better than the last. The cigars, arayes, challah schnitzel sandwich, shawarma on laffa, and the knafeh were all phenomenal. As Israelis, we know Mediterranean food, and this was simply outstanding. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with care. The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. I also want to give a special shout-out to Ryan, our server. Ryan was absolutely incredible. You can genuinely tell that he loves what he does and takes pride in where he works. Every recommendation he gave us was a perfect choice. He checked on us throughout the meal, always made sure our drinks were full, kept us smiling and laughing, and treated us with exceptional kindness and professionalism. Ryan was a huge part of what made this experience so memorable. Employees like him are hard to find, and he deserves recognition for the outstanding job he does. He represents your restaurant in the best possible way. Thank you for such a memorable evening. We will definitely be back and will be recommending Motek to everyone we know. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I honestly fell in love with this place. From the very first meal at Motek, I knew it was special. The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care — every dish felt comforting and unforgettable. I was visiting Miami Beach, and it got to the point where I went back every single day because nothing else compared. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of good energy, and the staff made me feel like family every time I walked in. You can truly feel the passion behind the food and hospitality. Thank you for making my trip so memorable. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Mediterranean food and a beautiful dining experience.
Very nice restaurant, which gets quite busy, particularly in the evenings. I would highly recommend making a reservation, especially in case you’re a bigger group. The food is really nice, and portions are huge. I can highly recommend the Baba Ghanoush, which was simply outstanding. Also the hummus was great. The dips are perfect with the homemade pita bread - which comes still warm. Sensational taste really. And then - of course - the lamb kebab and shawarma. The meat could have been a bit juicier, but the taste was great. Service is friendly and fast.
One of my best meals in Miami - we enjoyed each dish, great service & outline of items to order. Each dish gave us little bursts of flavor, all distinct - very good. Great & breezy ambience with attentive service, well deserved gratuity. The lamb & salmon bowls had their own distinct flavors, with bread, falafel & the Moroccan cigars (beef/lamb rolls), delightful bites 😊 Note that generally in Miami the gratuity is embedded into the bill automatically. How’ver Motek’s crew definitely are on top of things to give their customers a great culinary experience. Definitely check this place out, reservations are recommended. They do have a few outlets. Families take note, happy hour menus from 2-5pm, mon to Friday do not apply to minors. This is a shame bcos it def gives a wide choice of food items for first timers to test out. Overall - great experience & I’d recommend to folks as well as come back if in Miami. Keep it up 👍🏻 (Unlike the establishment in my last review - which was a disappointment)
