Delicious and so well served. We live in Brickell and are always a bit skeptical to try restaurants but we’re so glad we went to Mayu! Alexander was our server and was very very sweet and attentive. My husband ate a ton of the corn and he gave us some even to go. Gracias!! ❤️ we will be back.
My first visit to Mayu, and it certainly will not be my last. From the moment we walked through the doors, the thoughtful handwashing ritual, accompanied by the fragrant oils, created such a warm and memorable introduction to the dining experience that awaited us. Our server, Hans, was phenomenal—knowledgeable about every detail on the menu, genuinely welcoming, and wonderfully engaging throughout the evening. His service elevated an already exceptional experience. I hope Mayu remains a hidden gem for those fortunate enough to discover it. If you ask me, it is the best restaurant in Miami. I also hope the owner knows that the team is representing the people and cuisine of Peru with absolute excellence.
Had such a great experience at Mayu! Everything we ordered was delicious, but the highlights were definitely the ceviche—it was incredibly fresh—the large, flavorful oysters, and the lemon mignonette, which was absolutely delicious. We also had the Wagyu, and it was excellent. What really made the experience stand out was the service. Huge shoutout to Hans, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and gave us fantastic recommendations throughout the meal. He made us feel so well taken care of from start to finish. Great food, outstanding service, and an overall wonderful dining experience. We'll definitely be back!
Today we had an excellent experience at Mayu. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home right away. I would like to sincerely thank the entire team who took care of my husband and me. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. They also showed special care for our baby, always checking on her and making sure we were comfortable. That truly made a difference and meant a lot to us. Our server, Adrian, provided exceptional service. I would definitely request him again on a future visit. That being said, every member of the staff was attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding from beginning to end. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you to the entire Mayu team for making us feel so well taken care of!
Exceptional Authenticity and Outstanding Service! If you are looking for genuinely authentic Peruvian flavors, this place is an absolute gem. We had an incredible dining experience from start to finish. The dishes were prepared to perfection, capturing the true essence and vibrant flavors of traditional Peruvian cuisine—every bite felt like a trip to Lima. Beyond the amazing food, the service truly set this evening apart. Our waiter, Jose, was phenomenal. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and went out of his way to make sure we were accommodated and comfortable throughout our meal. His recommendations were spot on, and his warm hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome. We will absolutely be returning soon. Highly recommended!
