I had my birthday dinner there and let me just say the service is exceptional. Our server was amazing Lisa. She was patient. She was an excellent service provider. She definitely made the experience so amazing. She never rushed never was rude. Suggested things on the menu came back, checked on us was so accommodating, even though we were the last ones for the night we could tell the staff wanted to go home but because it was my birthday and I wanted pictures she took pictures of us. They never rushed us out. The service was immaculate. I’ve been to this place when it was named something else a few years back and it was also good but this place brought service to a whole Nother level. I recommend the food the ambience the staff I recommend 1000% to come to this place. It is so beautiful and the staff is amazing and it’s worth every dollar to come here thank you for an amazing birthday experience.
We arrived just after the 6pm opening and chose two seats at the bar. Our bartender, Guy, was excellent on all counts, friendly, engaging, polite, professional and skilled at his craft. He gave us a tour of the restaurant, Including the upstairs rooms with an extensive wall of fine wines from all over the world. The decor and feel is very 1920s, nicely done and undoubtedly an expensive buildout. Guy pointed out the beautiful Murano blown glass chandelier hanging in an alcove just off the bar, specially made for the owners. Fabulous meal of steak frites and a cheesecake dessert, perfectly prepared and presented. Although we live outside the city, we will go back, next time with guests so that we can show them this golden age venue and hope that Guy is behind the bar again!
We had such a wonderful experience at Lafayette Miami, and a huge part of that was thanks to Lisa! From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made us feel so comfortable, checked on us throughout the meal, and made sure everything was perfect. Her recommendations were great, and her positive attitude truly elevated our dining experience. It’s clear that she cares about her guests and takes pride in providing excellent service. Thank you, Lisa, for making our dinner so enjoyable—we can’t wait to come back! If you’re dining at Lafayette Miami, definitely ask for Lisa!
Lafayette is a restaurant destination if you are in Miami. Ambience, elegance, great food, amazing music, and Mary our server was the sweetest. Perfect for a romantic date, or just feeling glamorous in the city. I’ll come back!
I have the best experience ever! The food was delicious the atmosphere was beautiful I can’t even describe it. The waitress was very kind, Marie served us very quickly and was super friendly! I couldn’t believe how fast the food came and how yummy it was the bread was so fluffy and delicious and you need to ask for the wagu dumplings!
