Was in town for the weekend so decided to give this restaurant a chance. We had Enrique as our server along with two other gentlemen and let me just say, they were super attentive and made sure we were doing good at all times. We had a reservation for 7:30 pm and the ambience was quiet, slowly more and more people start to show and that’s what we wish we knew earlier. Definitely will be coming at a later time to experience the shows and the change of ambience at night time. Loved every single dish we ordered. We ordered two champagne bottles too and the service was amazing. If you want to try a good but upscale Mediterranean restaurant, I’d recommend this location and ask for Enrique!
I celebrated my birthday with a group of friends at Kiki on the River, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was very good, and the atmosphere was absolutely spectacular. The décor, the dancers’ performances, and the overall entertainment throughout the night create a fun and unique experience. Being located right on the Miami River also gives the restaurant a beautiful waterfront view, especially at night. The cocktails were delicious, although both the drinks and the food are definitely on the expensive side. If you’re planning to have dinner and drinks, I would expect to spend around $300–$500 per couple. Overall, we had an amazing time, and everything about the evening was fantastic. If you’re looking for a lively, upscale restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, I would definitely recommend it.
Visually, this venue is a 10/10. The aesthetic and atmosphere are undeniably top-tier, capturing that quintessential high-end Miami energy. However, the experience is a mix of highs and lows. Impeccable Decor: The interior design is stunning, creating a sophisticated and vibrant backdrop perfect for the Miami scene. The Crowd: The venue attracts a high-profile, glamorous crowd—very much in line with the "see and be seen" culture of Miami or Medellin. It’s the place to be if you’re looking for that elite social pulse. Exemplary Service: Our server (whose name escapes me) was the highlight of the night. She was incredibly cordial, attentive, and knowledgeable, providing excellent menu recommendations and ensuring we were well-attended to throughout the evening. On the other hand, The Culinary Experience (2/10): Unfortunately, the food does not match the caliber of the decor. While it’s a great spot for cocktails, the kitchen falls short. Our salmon arrived overcooked, and the portions felt uninspired—almost as if they lacked the artisanal touch expected at this price point. Given the premium pricing, the quality and presentation of the dishes were disappointing. Inconsistent Dress Code: While the venue enforces a dress code at the door, the policy seems to be applied inconsistently. Inside, the "Miami vibe" takes over, with some guests in very casual attire (shorts and polos), while others are fully dressed up. It suggests a double standard that can be a bit confusing for new patrons. Final Verdict: Go for the drinks and the world-class atmosphere, but perhaps skip the dinner reservation.
I had such an amazing experience at Kiki on the River! I originally planned to just sit at the bar, but the hostess kindly found a way to seat me at a table instead when I wasn’t too excited about the crowded bar area. I ended up sitting right by the water with the most beautiful view — it completely elevated the whole evening. My server, Eric, was exceptional. He was attentive, warm, and made the experience feel so special. I came alone, but he made me feel like I had a whole party with me. The service, the atmosphere, and the view all came together for an over-the-top dining experience. I highly recommend asking for Eric if you visit. Truly an unforgettable brunch!
Kiki on the River is definitely a scene,lively, beautiful, and full of energy. The atmosphere leans more toward a party than a dinner, with music, sparklers, and an overall festive crowd. It’s a great spot if you’re in the mood for a social, high-energy evening. That said, the service was mediocre and didn’t quite match the upscale vibe. The food was decent, but not particularly memorable. The oddest part of the night was being seated, as a party of two, at a large six-person table that directly faced the kitchen. It felt awkward and out of place given the rest of the ambiance. Overall, Kiki is worth a visit for the experience and atmosphere, but not necessarily for the food or service. It’s more of a “come for the vibe” destination than a true dining experience
