Good food, good service, good prices... But, hardly any parking. Also, they auto-charge your tip here. I left an extra $10 for the lady who brought my food because she was very busy and very pleasant. But the suggested tip should be on the sub total, not a suggestion with the previous tip and the taxes included. Nice place, though.
I don't enjoy writing less than 4 or 5 star reviews. When I do, it's to help businesses improve the guest experience. Being in the hospitality industry as a Wedding and Event DJ in Miami, South Florida, Key Largo, and the Florida Keys, I'm very focused on hospitality and guest experience. I hadn't eaten at a La Granja restaurant in a while, and this was the first time I recall having a less than 5 star experience. For starters, the self service tablet to place your order is confusing and not too user friendly. The counter staff was very nice and hospitable, and gets 5 stars. The food took a while to prepare and could've been much better. The chicken breast was really thin and kinda dry, the black beans lacked flavor, and the tostones were not very good. The garlic potatoes however were better, but could've used more garlic flavor. Hope they can improve in some of these areas.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super experience at La Granja! The food was delicious and truly exceeded our expectations. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and very well prepared. The service was absolutely outstanding as well. Suzanna took care of us, and she was beyond amazing — very professional, pleasant, attentive, and with such a beautiful personality. She made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Thank you, Suzanna, for such exceptional service. We wish there were more people like you in restaurants. You truly made our visit special. Highly recommended! 🙌🍽️
They sell variety of food which is great for someone live nearby like me. Very affordable. I recommended their chicken soup and steak, but not lomo saltado and bowl dishes.
Absolutely amazing experience! This was our first time here, and they’ve definitely gained loyal customers — we’ll be coming back regularly. The food was unreal — the soup and the rice with seafood were simply magical, incredibly flavorful and comforting. Portions are HUGE, we were more than full. The service is next level — it honestly feels like McDonald’s in terms of speed and organization, but with super luxury, restaurant-level service. What surprised us the most: they don’t accept tips at all, and still treat you unbelievably well. Truly restaurant-quality food at a very affordable price. Everything was insanely delicious!
