What a pleasant surprise to discover this restaurant in Coconut Grove. Always heard about the incredible food from San Sebastian, Spain from our closest friends, and now I finally get it! Every single dish was exquisite and delicious, and not all what I have experienced from other Spanish restauatrants. Highly recommend although it is pricey. Pleasure to find a place totally worth the splurge for a special occasion. Real treat was having Chef Xabi and sit with us and tell us that his brother also has a restaurant in San Sebastian and now of course I have a reason to go visit one day.
Casa Xabi was truly such a warm experience. The food was deliciously curated to fulfill it’s Spanish origin. The drinks were amazing, with the great accompaniment of each dish. The atmosphere is dim lit, warm, and homely yet fancy feeling. Yet, the best part was the attentive and friendly service. Dominque was a perfect example of this. Her conversation and true demeanor towards me and my family was 10/10. Not just her, but the entire staff was amazing. I recommend making a reservation asap if your interested!
An incredible experience from start to finish. The food quality is outstanding, every dish is beautifully presented, and you can tell there is real attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant. The service was professional, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and perfect for both a casual dinner and a special occasion. Casa Xavi has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. Exceptional food, great energy, and a team that truly cares about the customer experience. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back. Congratulations to the entire team
Excellent place! I’m glad MR.O1 was packed and I was able to find Casa Xabi spontaneously. It’s been the best experience I ever had in a restaurant in Miami. Such a cozy an delicious place. Thanks Dominique, for your recommendations!
Food was good but it didn’t feel very basque to me. The shrimp rice was very nice and came with lobster. The wine was ok. The dover sole (catch of the day) was a bit bland and cold by the time it was deboned at the table. Service was great and Laura deserves all the praise for being waiter, front of house and everything else in between.
