First off let me say our server Maday was wonderful! Overall great service and friendly faces. The presentation of the food was perfect, the matcha was creamy and refreshing and the staff was on top of it responding to needs. A negative I’ll say is having the open door concept I observed. We quite literally had a feathered patron come into the restaurant and scare one of the waitresses.
Al was great!! Excellent service and personality. The food was also amazing. Mediterranean omelette we added bacon and it was pretty good. Not sure if I would’ve paid the price for it, but it was good but the pistachio pancakes out of this world! If you eat around the edges and it’s a little dry, but that blueberry compote and the pistachio mix on top is just so flavorful. Pear that was a little bit of maple and you got yourself a winning dish!
My wife and I were visiting Miami for just a few hours and wanted to find a good place to eat. We were trying to find a different restaurant and couldn’t find it with our gps when we walked by cafe bastille. I looked at the reviews and saw the food coming out and thought it would be a good place. We were pleasantly surprised. Honestly everything that came out to tables looked really good and looked liked they used fresh ingredients. We each got a cocktail and both were very good. My wife got the berry rhum crush that looked as good as it tasted and I got a blueberry basil mule which was outstanding. For lunch my wife got eggs Benedict with ham as they had 3 types. She rarely gets eggs Benedict as most restaurants don’t make it good enough but she loved it. I got a Mediterranean omelet which was very good although not as impressive to look at like the Benedict. Both came with potatoes that were crispy and full of flavor and mine also had multigrain toast with a side of avocado although I asked for blueberry compote since they didn’t have jam. The wait for our drinks took a long time which is the only issue with the service but overall we really enjoyed our time and would come back next time we are in Miami.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Café Bastille was one of the highlights of our Miami trip! The food was not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. We tried the French toast, pancakes, specialty coffees, and breakfast dishes, and everything exceeded our expectations. The coffee was excellent with impressive latte art, and the sweet dishes were rich, fresh, and perfect for sharing. The atmosphere was vibrant, stylish, and exactly what you’d expect from a great Miami brunch spot. While it can get busy, it’s easy to see why. The quality of the food, attention to detail, and overall experience make it well worth the visit. If you’re looking for an unforgettable brunch in Miami, Café Bastille deserves a spot on your list. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip!
Shezly was our server. She was the utmost professional. She was extremely attentive and informative. The atmosphere was absolutely adorable! It was extremely inviting the garden ambience was very calming and beautiful. We had a table of five. We ordered multiple fruit, platters, the regular croissant, pistachio, croissant, and almond croissant. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict and The steak and eggs bowl. Everything was amazing! By far, my personal favorite was the almond croissant. The croissants are massive! The Benedict and the eggs and steak bowl could very easily be split between two people if you augment with a small side or the fruit platter. We would strongly recommend any of the food items we purchased. We also ordered a couple of Americano’s cappuccinos, hot tea, standard coffee, And a vanilla steamer (Steamed milk with a splash of vanilla at a lower warm temp) for a child. All of these came out quickly and were delightful. We really loved that they were unfamiliar with a vanilla steamer for a child but once we explained what it was, they were more than accommodating, and it was great.
