This place was an absolute dream!! I booked two air conditioned poolside cabanas and a beach cabana for 12 girls for a bachelorette and worked with the event manager, Laura, who was amazingly accommodating, friendly, and went above and beyond. They decorated our cabana for us, we had the sweetest waitress, the pool to ourselves, easy access to the beach, amazing food and drinks. Vibes were amazing. 10/10 experience and the highlight of the bachelorette for me (and we even did a boat day the next day!). Love love loved it here! Top notch customer service. Thank you to the team for an amazing time!

I recently spent a day at the Backyard beach section in Miami Beach, and I have to say the experience exceeded my expectations. I booked through ResortPass at a nearby hotel, which partners with Backyard for its beach service. The setup was seamless, and I was able to enjoy food and drinks delivered directly to my beach chair throughout the day. One of the highlights was the margarita. I particularly loved how it was served, in what appears to be a regular clear cup, but with a secure cap on top. It’s a genius idea for the beach, helping prevent spills from wind, movement, or simply relaxing in the sand. The cocktail itself was excellent: strong, well-crafted, and very enjoyable. For food, I ordered the chicken and farro bowl as well as a burger. Both were decent, and I’d rate them around 4 out of 5 stars. They were satisfying enough, but neither dish was particularly memorable. I also ordered a few beers, but unfortunately they arrived warm. I requested a cup of ice to help cool them down, but it never arrived, so I ended up drinking them at nearly room temperature. Service was the weakest part of the experience. While the staff was friendly, everything seemed to move quite slowly, especially when it came to drink requests and follow-ups. One suggestion for management: offer the unlimited mimosa package directly on the beach. I’d gladly pay a premium for that option without having to leave my beach setup. Overall, I enjoyed my day and will definitely return. The beach beds are comfortable, the location is excellent, and the cocktails alone are worth coming back for. Next time, however, I’ll likely skip the food and beer and stick with the cocktails.
This location is such a dream. The house made watermelon 🍉 drink on one of the sunbeds in the backyard with their French fries is the equivalent to a day of therapy. Worth every minute. Sweetest bartenders and staff. Just gorgeous and literally on the beach. Affordable prices. Connected to the Kimpton Hotel and right there on Collins Avenue. Private Cabanas available and of course there big swimming pool. They also have fun games in the back like corn hole and smaller pools. The atmosphere is immaculate and beautiful.
Friendly, attentive staff. Cleanliness is my priority and it satisfied that box. Pool area with hot tub was superb. Cold towels, water to drink, towels at the ready. Public bathrooms cleaned regularly. Atmosphere is resort like and so is the staff's attentiveness. Rooms is small but large enough because we weren't in it much. Rooms is tastefully decorated and hotel was kept up as best as possible and updated not to ruin the architecture. Family friendly with kids for our kids to play with. Billiards table a plus. Would stay again. Beach front. Don't hesitate to stay here.
