Andres and the rest of the team were amazing. I came to celebrate my 30th birthday and quality food, service and they have shades for the rain and sun while you sit outside. We got the cauliflower (the green sauce is fantastic), tuna crudo, quinoa salad and the vodka pasta with salmon. The manager even spent 10 minutes taking the perfect photos of me and my stepdad for our celebration.
The staff at the Ocean Grill are extremely professional and kind. Our food was delicious, and we will definitely return if we are in the area. A huge thank you to the staff that retrieved my phone after falling through an opening in the window/wall. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great evening.

This is a beach-view restaurant by the boardwalk in Miami Beach. The food was really flavorful, and everything we ordered was delicious. I especially recommend trying the truffle pizza. To my surprise, it was a standout dish and something I would definitely come back for. It was amazing—very thin and crisp. The sea bass was also well-prepared. We also ordered a dozen oysters, but unfortunately almost every single one had pieces of shell in it. You have to be very careful when eating them, as we constantly had to spit out bits of shell. It seemed like they might not have been shucked properly. We were celebrating a birthday, and while the overall experience was good, I was a bit surprised that there wasn’t even a small complimentary dessert or gesture—especially considering the bill was $400 for two people. In a setting like this, I would have expected a little extra touch for the occasion.
Ocean Grill at The Setai was a fantastic dining experience. We had a reservation and were informed that non-hotel guests have about an hour and thirty minute dining window, which ended up being more than enough time to enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. We started with the Wagyu carpaccio and it was amazing. For our main dishes we ordered the filet mignon and the Wagyu skirt steak with chimmichurri, along with sides of Brussels sprouts and steak fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We finished the meal with the vanilla bean crème brûlée, which was also excellent. The service was flawless from start to finish—from drinks to food delivery, everything was timed perfectly and the staff was attentive throughout. Overall, a great dining experience.
