Lobster Shack's Cajun lobster rolls were some of the best lunch food we found during our 5 day Miami Beach stay, and easily the best value lunch package too at $24 menu price. Well worth a visit to Lincoln Drive by itself!
We were looking for a convenient spot for a quick, late dinner right after arriving, and this hit the spot. The location is definitely touristy, but sitting outside on the pedestrian street was actually very pleasant. Regarding the price, you have to keep a few things in mind: you’re eating lobster in the heart of Miami Beach, and there is a mandatory 20% service charge plus tax added to the bill. While the portions aren't huge, the flavor of the rolls is excellent: we had the Cajun Lobster Rolls. The bun was soft and the sauce was perfectly balanced, letting the freshness of the seafood shine through. I wish the rolls were a bit bigger, but I’d definitely come back!
Nice location and the staff were very patient and friendly, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience was pretty frustrating - we were seated at a table outside under a tree and ended up getting literally pooped on by birds, which completely ruined the moment. The food itself was actually very good. The lobster soup was delicious, and the lobster tacos were amazing - definitely the highlight. But everything else felt cheap for the price point. Plastic spoons, water served in plastic cups… it just didn’t match what you expect when you’re paying those prices. Additionally there was a cockroach at the bar entrance 🤯🤯🤯 and towlet room is terrible Overall, mixed feelings. Good food, but the overall experience and setup don’t justify the cost. I wouldn’t recommend it as a place for dinner.
Super good. The only thing I wouldn't suggest getting is the crab cake because you pay so much for the tiniest little thing. In the lobster rolls are expensive but that's kind of the price of lobster rolls. The Poseidon role was super good. In the calamari was very good in the sauce that it comes with was very unique and super good with a little spice
This was the best lobster roll I’ve had in years. It was so good, I went back for dinner. The South Beach Lobster Roll is perfect, fresh and absolutely delicious. I also had the Oyster Rockerfella which was good but they are a little small. The Clam Chowder was great too.
