We had such a great experience at Truluck's in Miami! From the food to the service, everything felt thoughtful and well executed. - Crab, Crab, Crab: this dish alone was worth the trip. It was so fun watching it get prepared and getting to try crab made three different ways on one plate. Every bite felt like a little wow moment. - Halibut with Lobster Risotto: soft, flaky fish on top of creamy risotto packed with lobster. Felt like a special occasion dish even on a regular night. - Prime Ribeye: juicy, full of flavor, and cooked just the way we wanted. The roasted garlic on the side was a nice extra touch. - Scallop & Shrimp Saute: scallops and shrimp cooked perfectly, served over creamy risotto with spinach mixed in. Simple but really tasty. It is clear Chef Francisco pays close attention to detail in the kitchen, the food spoke for itself. Our server Lourdes made sure we were taken care of all night, and GM Micky went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We will be back for sure!

An incredible celebration at Truluck’s! Our server, Lourdes, welcomed us with a beautiful card signed by the team, setting a wonderful tone for the evening. The 'CRAB, CRAB, CRAB' dish is exquisitely presented, and the Crab Cluster Flight, customized for us with a jumbo shrimp cocktail right in the center, was phenomenal. The lobster bisque and halibut were also outstanding. Truluck’s is rightfully famous for seafood, but they are equally top-notch with their meats, and their signature ribeye is a total winner! We capped off the night with their well-known carrot cake and a spectacular baked Alaska. We highly enjoyed talking with the GM, Mickey, and we were truly honored when Chef Francisco came out to our table personally to serve a few of our dishes. World-class food and hospitality! We will absolutely be back!

I went there for lunch at a bit before noon on Tuesday. I was by myself. The restaurant was still almost empty and I was seated in the booth which was very comfortable. My server was Marlene and she was fantastic and willing to help me. I wanted to try Stone crab but I had no idea the sizes. Right away she offered to bring them to show me the size differences. I read somewhere that the bigger the tougher but she said it was not true. I chose to have a Large for $20. It was so sweet and boiled perfectly. I didn’t use any mustard nor lemon. It’s pre cracked and super easy to eat. The next table was served by a different server and the customers were asking the same question about the sizes. But he didn’t offer the presentation like Marlene did and he was just trying to describe it by words. I ordered a bowl of lobster bisque. It was very rich with nice kick 🌶️. I wanted to order a sea bass as entree but again I wasn’t sure if I wanted full size or petit. She suggested to order after I had the bisque. After this good size of a bowl of the bisque I decided to order petit size of Miso glazed sea bass. The fish was not big but not petite either, it was nice and thick, cooked PERFECTLY. It was SOOO buttery and I absolutely loved it. However, I wasn’t impressed by crab fried rice. The miso was too strong to taste crab flavor. I cleansed my palate after the rice each time to taste the beautiful sea bass otherwise the miso was overpowering and you don’t taste the delicious fish. I was totally stuffed and satisfied after those 3 dishes. It was very nice lunch. I would come back again next time I’m in Miami.

Truluck’s in Brickell is a polished, unapologetically high-end seafood and steakhouse. Service was immediate and well paced. Menu guidance was thoughtful, particularly around the stone crab and featured steak. Service was tightly managed early on, helped by a visible and engaged manager. My stone crab arrived expertly cracked, the meat sweet and clean, the mustard sauce restrained and flavourful. Our crab cake delicious with a tartare sauce that complemented and didn’t dominate. My NY strip steak presented to order and was excellent. Creamed spinach rich not heavy, asparagus well seasoned, roasted garlic a very welcome addition. Our second entree, the scallop and shrimp saute was less assured, the shrimp were right but the scallops lacked the heat in the pan needed to lightly bronze and intensify flavour. Our Affogato was on point, and the flaming Baked Alaska was an exceptional finish, perfectly paired with a fine sherry that meant I finished the spectacle with delicious spoonfuls of trifle. Live piano and vocals added gentle atmosphere. But our server’s very extended and energetic conversation with the neighbouring booth cut across our entrees and the intimacy of the evening. The experience was so nearly there on this visit, yet, at this price, precision needs to be absolute and not asked for.

Our visit to Truluck’s was outstanding from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was both warm and sophisticated, creating the perfect setting for a memorable night out. A live performer on the piano added an elegant touch that truly elevated the entire experience. Our server, Luis, was equally exceptional. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enhanced our evening with his professionalism and warm personality. Highly recommend Truluck’s, and especially Luis, for anyone looking for an unforgettable seafood dinner in a refined, welcoming setting.
