I just come for hookah and drinks which I’ve known are too qualiry already, but me and my son had the lamb chops and Kafka today and food was 10/10 (destroys Motek’s food). I was served again by Jeff today and even on a busy day the guy is super attentive and you feel like an appreciated customer. Anyways I’m stuck as an every week customer
Absolutely love this place. The ambience, the food, and especially the hookah are always above par when I come here. I loved the vibe so much that I planned a photoshoot in their outdoor patio area. For someone who loves hookah and has so many negative experiences (even at high end venues) Ziva does some of the smoothest and tastiest hookahs I've had. The actual hookahs they provide are some of the best quality I've smoked being made with ceramic and metal pieces (versus cheap plastic that most places use). I honestly can go on and on but Ziva is my go-to spot when I'm in the midtown area. Whether it's working there during the day or taking friends/business associates out to dinner at night, I'll always recommend this place.
Amavi is a beautiful restaurant with a nice ambiance. The happy hour selection is top tier and you cant go wrong with the hummus! I've tried hummus dishes from the best restaurants around the world and this one is easily the best one Ive had in Miami. Drinks were excellent. Look for Erin she is the best! Great service highly recommend
I’ve been to Amavi in Midtown twice, once shortly after they opened in late summer 2025 and again a few weeks ago. The space is undeniably beautiful: very aesthetic, with intimate lighting and a stylish atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a drink. My first visit was a good experience overall, especially the cocktails, which were creative and well executed. Unfortunately, the second visit didn’t live up to that first impression. We started with the hummus, which was decent but a bit heavy on the tahini for my taste. The ribeye steak was okay, not the best steak I’ve had, but not bad either, just somewhere in the middle. The short ribs had good flavor, but they came out a little dry. The octopus was chewy. Overall, the ambiance and cocktail program are definitely the highlights here. I’d come back during happy hour for drinks, but I probably wouldn’t return specifically for the food.
Amazing restaurant! We decided to try it out on a whim and ordered from the happy hour menu, where we absolutely fell in love with the Love Affair cocktail. A special thanks to Nigel, our bartender, who provided excellent customer service. He made us feel so relaxed and welcome at the bar that we’ve been coming back ever since. We also sampled some of the food and can’t wait to return to dine in the main dining room.
