Everything about this place was amazing: food, drinks, and service. The cocktails were all phenomenal and super unique. My favorite was La guayabita which tasted like a guava and cheese pastry in a drink. They have the same croquetas as Tinta and Cafe here which are the best Cuban croquetas I’ve ever had. All the entrees were amazing too but my favorites were the Ropa vieja Wellington which had a delish sauce and the pork chop milanesa. The steak was good too but nothing special besides the bone marrow which no one at the table ate besides me lol. Desserts were INSANELY good especially the tres leches and flan. Also the service was incredible. Our servers, Orlando and Alejandro, took incredible care of us
Tin Tin in Little Havana is part of the well-known Tinta y Café family, so I came in with fairly high expectations and stopped by during happy hour to sample a variety of dishes. I ordered the croquetas (spinach, bacalao, and ham), smoked fish, albóndigas, pastelitos, crudo, and the Saguesera cocktail. Some dishes stood out more than others. The clear highlights were the spinach and bacalao croquetas, both were flavorful, well-executed, and easily the best items I tried. The ham croquetas, on the other hand, were overly salty and oddly sweet at the same time, making them a bit overwhelming. The smoked fish had good flavor and texture, but it was also noticeably salty. My guess is that the curing process contributed to the sodium level, though that’s just speculation on my part. The albóndigas were tender and juicy, but not particularly memorable. The pastelitos were enjoyable and one of the stronger dishes on the menu. The crudo was very fresh, but it felt unbalanced. The sauce leaned too sweet and could have benefited from more acidity to brighten the dish and tie the flavors together. As for the Saguesera cocktail, it was decent but not a standout. The grapefruit notes dominated the drink, making it feel somewhat one-dimensional. Overall, Tin Tin is worth a visit, but I would still choose the original Tinta y Café location. In my experience, the flavors are more refined and the execution is more consistent there. I’d rate Tin Tin 3.5–4 stars.
We had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish exceeded our expectations. Our server, Rolando, was outstanding friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make our visit special. He even took a ton of photos for us and was incredibly kind throughout the entire evening. As a nice surprise, the restaurant also treated us to complimentary drinks, which was a wonderful touch. And the desserts were spectacular easily some of the best we’ve had. Excellent service, excellent food, and an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back!
We had an excellent dining experience at Tintin Miami. Every dish we ordered was outstanding from start to finish. We started with the Cuban panzanella, which was perfectly prepared and packed with flavor, especially the delicious pork pieces. For our mains, we tried the chicken, pork chop, and the ropa vieja Wellington. While everything was fantastic, the ropa vieja Wellington was the clear standout. The meat was incredibly tender and practically melted in your mouth, and it paired perfectly with the silky yuca purée. Eduardo, our waiter, was super attentive throughout the meal and offered great suggestions that helped make the experience even better. To finish, we shared the guava flan and olive oil cake, both of which were delicious. Paired with their coffee, it was the perfect ending to a memorable meal. The food, execution, and flavors were exceptional throughout. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!
This weekend we decided it was time to visit our new Little Havana neighbor, Tin-Tin, a chef forward Cuban concept by the Tinta y Cafe team. We sat at the bar where we met bartender Eduardo who walked us through the menu and helped us make our selections, and let me tell you, like a great album, there were no skips. Before I get into the food, I must compliment the atmosphere: elevated yet causal, with a great playlist, that evokes memories of late night hangs at your trendy friend’s apartment. What we had: Cubano carpaccio Papaya and jamón Pork chop empanizado Olive oil cake (I took some liberties on the names of the dishes) Everything was executed not only to perfection but beyond our expectations. The food was creatively prepared, cooked skillfully, and presented beautifully. Everything was nicely tied together by the supreme cocktails being crafted by Eduardo. The service was friendly and inviting and our bartender very conversational. They’ve got a good team here. Would love to see them do a late night happy hour with a DJ spinning vinyl. With all that said, I’ll definitely be keeping this spot in the rotation and hope everyone else gives them a try.
