It was a spontaneous decision to try this place because we were at the Cape Florida Light house. It was a lovely experience. Everyone was super friendly and pleasant. For those in the area I recommend this place .
Had a wonderful family meal at Mestizo in Florida! The food was outstanding. fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic Latin-American taste. Every dish we tried was delicious as well as desserts and coffees. The service was excellent and very friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Latin cuisine and a cozy atmosphere!
Popular Latin resturant right at the entrance to WinnDixie. Very friendly service and authentic delicious food. We visited twice during the week, highly recommend their salad bowls and Cachepas, which is a unique dish ive never had anywhere else. Semi crispy corn cake wrap over perfect balance combination of cheese, plantains, beef and beans.
The food and service was great! Came here for a quick snack after the beach, got seated right away and ordered a coffee, one dish, and one empanada for 2 people, total $31 w/o tip. Our server told us the empanadas are better fresh but it would be a 25 minute wait, so I ended up saying I’ll take an empanada to go since it would be ready by the time we finished eating. He gave us one of the pre-prepared empanadas and a tequeño as a gift while we waited which was really nice!!! They were delicious, as was the capacha we got. Overall, great atmosphere, great service, and great food. FYI, the fresh empanada I got at the end was seriously good, definitely better fresh and hot!
Honestly, they have the best arepa I have ever had. Crunchy, extremely filled with shredded beef, beans, plantain and cheese. So good and tasty. Also had a delicious iced coffee. The place is very cozy and charming. Service is fast and very friendly. I found them on Google while visiting Key Biscayne. For sure I would visit them again soon.
