On Calle Ocho, an easy walk if you are staying close by. I loved the live music. I had Airline Chicken, a perfect portion. My Papaya beverage was grand. However, alcohol is served for those who imbibe. Tourists from Cuba and Mexico congegate here. Staff is bilingual. My dish came with black beans and I savor each spoonful. Austin black beans are not as tasty as the ones in Miami. This is great for families, couples, or solo travelers with exquisite taste. Music on Calle Ocho makes everything better. The neon sign to my left displayed, "El Amor Puede Esperar, Una Pizza No." (Love can Wait, A Pizza cannot). True. Tastier. Memorable. ¡Buen Provecho!
Had a great experience! Our server, Moises, was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He recommended the Porterhouse steak, and it was absolutely delicious—cooked perfectly and full of flavor. His recommendation made our dinner even better. Excellent service and amazing food. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you, Moises, for making our visit so enjoyable! 😊
The food was good and I enjoyed the meal overall. However, there was no restroom in the restaurant, so customers had to use the restroom in the restaurant next door. One of the employees just told me to “open the door” instead of politely explaining where to go. It would have been more professional to simply say that the restroom is in the neighboring restaurant and to close the door after using it. Unfortunately, the restroom there was also very dirty.
The steak sandwich was great. The service was slow. The music was unnecessarily loud (which appears to be the norm). I went in as a group and was given a single check. We were told that we couldn't separate it because we didn't tell them that we wanted separate checks to start. I recommend they either ask if it's separate or assume it's separate. It's easier for one person to pay for all checks than it is trying to break up checks.
My husband and I had one of the best meal here! We had no clue where to go and a local highly recommended this place so decided to try. Very clean and well-decorated with worm welcome by everyone. It was a surprise to have live music which is not too loud and sounded very relaxing. I had churrasco and my husband had carbonara. Portion is pretty good (we eat alot!) and THE best skirt steak ever. So flavourful and marbling, cooked to perfection. My husband REALLY loved carbonara which is quite authentic. If your party has someone who is not big fan of Cuban food, this would be a great spot for everyone! Prices are very reasonable compared to South Beach area restaurant. We HIGHLY recommend Ciao Havana if you are in Little Havana!
