Great place from the previous owners of PM Steak in Brickell. We were loyal customers at PM and glad to see they opened new steakhouse in Coconut Grove. What a wonderful addition to the area! The service was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and genuinely focused on making our dining experience enjoyable. The location is beautiful and creates the perfect atmosphere for a great meal. Having frequented the owners’ previous restaurant for many years, we were excited to try their new steakhouse, and it did not disappoint. It’s clear they’ve brought the same commitment to quality and hospitality that made their former restaurant such a favorite. We look forward to many more visits and highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent food, outstanding service, and a welcoming dining experience.
1986 is truly one of the best new spots near Coconut Grove right now Started at the bar and had one of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve had in a long time perfectly balanced, smooth, and beautifully executed. You can really feel the serious cocktail program behind the bar. Augustina⭐️ The food was just as impressive. The ribeye was spectacular: perfectly cooked, flavorful, tender, and high quality. The mashed potatoes were also wow. Service was excellent and made the whole experience even better. Loved that even though the empanadas are traditionally fried, they kindly made them baked for me such a thoughtful touch and truly appreciated since I can’t eat fried food. Great atmosphere, beautiful design, and a sophisticated energy without feeling pretentious. Definitely a place worth coming back to. ❤️
The ambiance was absolutely stunning, the food was delicious, the desserts were spot on, and the cocktails were perfectly balanced with beautiful presentation. I highly recommend this place, it was a solid 10/10.
