Santiago did an outstanding job helping us set up our group tables at Astra Rooftop. From start to finish, he was professional, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. He made sure everything was organized exactly as planned and went above and beyond to ensure our group had a great experience. The level of service Santiago and his team provided was exceptional. They were friendly, responsive, and always available to help with anything we needed throughout the event. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer service truly stood out and made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for Santiago and his team if you’re planning a group event at Astra—they provide some of the best service I’ve experienced.
I’ve been to Astra several times, and I’m surprised I never left a review. The vibe here is always great, beautiful rooftop, cozy atmosphere, and very Instagram-worthy. One of the best surprises was finding out they have Happy Hour every day, including weekends, with cocktails for just $9, which is pretty rare in Miami. The drinks were delicious, the music was good, and it’s a perfect spot to hang out with friends, watch a game, or enjoy the sunset. The only downside is the typical Wynwood parking situation, but this time we got lucky and found a spot easily. Definitely a place I keep coming back to.
We wanted to try Astra because it is a rooftop restaurant and lounge with a nice view and offers Mediterranean food with an emphasis on Greek food. The teak wood bar is uncovered but they do offer the use of their umbrellas if it rains. The dining area is covered. You can lounge on overstuffed comfy sofas as you enjoy music nightly from a host of DJs and live bands and take in the 360-degree sweeping views of Wynwood and Miami. It is a really cool place and we will return. As you take the elevator up and enter Astra, the bar is straight ahead and the dining area is on the right. The friendly hostess will guide you. We already had dinner so we thought we would have a drink here and enjoy the rooftop experience. Our bartender was very nice and helpful. We each ordered the La Paloma, a Don Julio Blanco tequila with lime juice and soda. It was refreshing. They have a great selection of drinks and were happy to accommodate a drink to your specifications. We had a really good time there. There is street parking. The entrance is located more to the back of the building. We chose a ride share to get there.
Beautiful rooftop spot in Wynwood! We sat outdoors and loved the city building views at night. The atmosphere is awesome. We had a group of 6, ordered the lobster pasta and the branzino (both really good), and the bill was right around $600. Great food, great vibes, and fair pricing for a prime Miami rooftop. Will be back!
Extremely frustrating experience. No wait to be seated. Place was almost empty but took forever to get attended and served. They only had 1 bring menu, literally "1" in hand and provided it almost am hr after arrived upon request. We weren't allows to sit in the booths bc they were for larger parties, however 3 seperate couples were permitted smh. The table and chair was horribly wobbly so they moved us mid meal to another wobly table smh. Very hot. Plenty of fans but all off. The food was almost all cold but the omelet was Devine. It saved the meal tbh and my rum drink was excellent though, just too small and full to the brim with ice so not a lot to drink for $18. Ww ordered a cheese appetizer (video attached) and another table got theirs quick, hot, and with a fire presentation. Ours arrived over 30 min later, hard on the top (not melted) and the bread was burned. Paid over $100 for a long, sad lunch. We missed all our other appointments for the day. The staff there was polite and they had 1 waitress for the whole venue apparently. Roof top was huge with Plenty of space and with a nice skyline view but they really need to work on the service.
