Starting with the great: my massage therapist, Jose, was phenomenal. He put me into such a state of relaxation. I have never had such an amazing massage. Just perfect!!! The not-as-great: the Edition doesn't really treat spa goers well... I have been to about every luxury hotel spa in Miami. We always are greeted more warmly by the hotel front desk. We always are able to use hotel amenities like the pool and beach chairs. At the Edition, however, we couldn't even go to the bar/restaurant at the pool. When we walked outside, the staff looked at us like we were trespassers. I asked if we could get a drink at the bar, they said no. I asked if we could sit at the empty pool (it was raining), they said no. It was clear we were not welcome. The spa, while gorgeous, had no amenities beyond a small steam room. So we got our massage and just left. That was that. Unfortunately, there was really nothing else to do. I think part of the luxury prices of getting a massage is the luxury amenities. There was none of that here. It is such a shame, because I would have loved to make the Edition my go-to place for spa visits in Miami. Especially because Jose was so great. It makes more sense to go somewhere where we can make the day (or even a couple hours) out of.
Elisabeth was amaaazing i had one of the best massages of my life she really knows what she s doing. I had severe shoulder pain and she helped a lot with my muscle pain. This spa is 10 better than the one at Standard.
My experience at the spa was exceptional. Seo is an outstanding massage therapist who provided an incredibly relaxing and personalized experience. He was attentive throughout the session, taking extra care to focus on the areas where I felt the most tension. I highly recommend booking a massage with Seo—you won’t be disappointed!
had an amazing experience at the spa at The Edition, and I have to give a special thank you to Sal (Sao), my therapist. He was incredibly kind, sweet, and professional, and honestly gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had. His technique was perfect, very relaxing but also therapeutic. You can tell he really cares about his clients and puts a lot of attention into his work. If you book here, I highly recommend requesting a massage with him — you won’t regret it. The spa itself is beautiful and very relaxing. The only small suggestions I would make are that the showers could have soap available, and the shower curtains are a bit uncomfortable since water tends to get everywhere. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and Sal’s service truly made the experience exceptional. I will definitely be back and will book with him again.
Natalia gave me an incredible deep tissue massage and completely exceeded my expectations. Her pressure was perfectly deep and effective without ever feeling rushed. If you love truly deep tissue work, she is the one to see. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience. Professional, clean, and a beautiful, calming ambiance.
