Miami’s Coolest Clothing Boutiques

Inspiration
Miami’s got a penchant for style. Every summer, during the hottest month of the year, hordes of swimsuit designers, collectors, and models sashay down to the Magic City to bare it all in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Swim Week. After all, if there’s one thing locals know how to do in the scantily-clad capital of the country, it's how to rock a bikini. Otherwise, thanks to the pulsing nightclub scene (notorious for its dress codes) there is always a good reason to dress up in Miami. You can always take your wallet to upscale Lincoln Road and Bal Harbour—both open-air shopping experiences—or cross the bridge over to the Design District, which is the pinnacle of luxury shopping in Miami. But those reliably fabulous options are not the only way to go: if you’re looking for a taste of the real Miami, try something on in any one of these inimitable boutiques.

C. Madeleine’s
If you’re looking for a history lesson in the bygone eras of fashion, get schooled at C. Madeleine’s. The vintage emporium in North Miami Beach houses one-of-a-kind pieces from brands A to Z—as in, from Alexander McQueen to Zac Posen. You’ll find vogue treasures from the rest of the alphabet, and chronicled by decades, in this 10,000-square-feet shrine to high-end fashion.

Style Mafia
This private label, housed in the Wynwood Arts District, comes from a 23-year-old local fashion blogger who’s as dashing and colorful as the wardrobe she designs and curates. Expect the unexpected—remarkable cuts, fascinating prints, and off-the-chain prices— in a good way. Simonett Pereira’s keen eye for fashion and fearless style make her and Style Mafia the city’s freshest sartorial, and an imposing threat to other local designers.

Jessie Boutique
This South Beach boutique is always on the edge of the latest celebrity trends. You’ll find an eclectic mix of known and emerging designers, as well as anything from the perfect pair of jeans and a casually snug white tee to the glitziest little black cocktail dress for that Miami night out. If you’re staying in South Beach but can’t make it to the boutique, a personal shopper will deliver your look right to your hotel door.
