Fort Lauderdale, abbreviated Ft. Lauderdale, and known as the 'Venice of America', due to its extensive and intricate canal system, is a city located in Broward County, in the state of Florida, of which it is the seat of the county, and is located between Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties.

Your airport could be Miami International Airport or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport if you travel to Florida and arrive in Miami. The gap is about 40 kilometers between the two airports.

The Fort Lauderdale Prime Area attracts tourists from around the world, focusing on foreign travelers who want to experience its laid-back, but sophisticated coastal culture and stunning scenery. Find yourself surrounded, from the beaches to the Florida Everglades, by blue skies, palm trees, and happy faces.

When it comes to beaches, this area is unsurpassed with 37 kilometers of golden coastline that encompasses eight beaches, all with different styles. From Deerfield Beach, a family favorite, shaped like a cove; From the popular fishing spots of retro Pompano Beach and Hollywood Beach to the seaside town charm of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and the cosmopolitan feel of Fort Lauderdale, there's a beach for every mood.

Spot alligators on the wilder side as you pace in the Everglades along with the renowned 'River of Grass' At Butterfly World, experience the world's largest butterfly garden and hummingbird aviary. Join a guided walk in the evening to spy on a few baby turtles heading out to sea.

Get around by taking a water taxi, which includes the New River, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and Whistle Stop routes. Two tourist excursions; Jungle Queen or Riverfront Cruises, they expand in the aquatic fun and in the extensive channels of the zone.

Head to Gulfstream Park, home of the renowned Pegasus Cup, as well as tons of shopping and dining options. Catch a Broadway musical at one of the world's most-visited theaters, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, or an outdoor concert at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater. At the NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale, you'll find dynamic exhibits of modern works and a collection of 7,000 pieces. Tour the Downtown Hollywood Mural Project to tap into more of the area's creativity.

Sports fans will also be captivated by a cricket match in the only IAC-regulated field in the United States at Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium, while the Florida Panthers professional hockey team leaves its mark on the ice at BB&T Center (BB&T Center) in Sunrise.

Organic cuisine predominates, with Florida-style seafood caught the same day and prepared. Five-star dining experiences and more than two dozen options for 'pier and dinner' are waiting for you. Start at Sawgrass Mills, the world's largest designer outlet, and visit luxury stores including Prada, Kate Spade, Bloomingdale outlet, and Saks Off 5th. Then go by car or water taxi to the Galleria Mall to find your favorite luxury shops.

Stroll through the trendy shops on Las Olas Boulevard, a see-and-be-seen experience, before immersing yourself in the nightlife at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino or the Underground Lauderdale scene, where music meets in I live, art, and cinema.
