The room is fine for one night, nevertheless the host was not friendly to us and his colleague. We made a small mistake and went to another room, and was there only for two minutes, he shouted on us and his colleague because he forgot to close the door. The location is not good as well.

We stayed here for one night and had a mixed experience. We checked in a bit early, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The property itself is nice overall — there’s a large patio area that’s great for relaxing, a shared kitchen, and even cats on the property, which was a fun and welcome touch. The price is very reasonable, especially if you’re booking a private room like we did. We stayed in one of the private rooms, which are small but cozy and have their own tiny bathroom and a mini fridge. The room was clean enough and perfectly fine for a short stay, though there’s no microwave and the TV in our room didn’t work. Free Wi-Fi is available. One downside was the shared kitchen fridge — one of them smelled very bad and clearly needed to be cleaned out, as there appeared to be old or rotting food inside. Another odd issue we experienced was with the electrical outlets. Whenever I plugged my phone into the wall to charge, my phone gave a “liquid detected” warning and wouldn’t charge. At first I thought it was my phone, but it charged perfectly fine in the car. When I plugged it back into the room outlet, the warning happened again. Not sure what caused this, but it was strange and inconvenient. The biggest factor that affected our stay, however, was the noise. The private rooms are set up so that you enter through one main door, and then the two rooms are right next to each other. Unfortunately, your neighbors really make or break your experience here. We went to bed sober and are fairly light sleepers. Our neighbors were going in and out of their room constantly, slamming the door, and at one point arguing. There also seemed to be people outside partying and yelling past midnight. Although signage says quiet hours start at 10 p.m., it felt like they weren’t enforced until much later, especially on the weekend. To be fair, once we made it known that we were there, our neighbors tried to keep voices down, but the frequent door slamming continued and made it very difficult to get consistent, restful sleep. Overall, I’m giving this hostel 3 stars. The price is great, the patio is nice, the staff are kind, and the cats are a plus. If you’re a heavy sleeper, planning to be out late, or don’t mind noise, this could be a good fit. However, if you’re a light sleeper and hoping for a quiet night, your experience will heavily depend on who’s staying next to you — and unfortunately, that’s what ultimately impacted ours. The area was also a little bit sketchy, but we were made to feel safe with the password protected doors. Last, but not least, you could not control the temperature of the room.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atrium Design District exceeded my expectations! My private room was clean and spacious, and I really appreciated how secure the property felt. The large gated patio was a great bonus for relaxing outdoors. Even though the neighborhood isn’t the fanciest, I felt totally safe thanks to the code entry and secure setup. Great value and would definitely stay again!
