Always a good spot where to eat. Never disappointing. Elegant servers.
It has been a while that I’ve been to Hillstone but a few weekends ago, my friend told me to join her there for dinner and I did. Since it was Saturday night, it was full. Even though we had reservations, we had to wait over 30 minutes. Once we were sat down, the service got much better. To eat, we shared the grilled artichokes, spicy tuna roll, barbecue ribs, Thai chicken salad and tres leche. Everything was tasty but my favorite was the Thai chicken salad. It was a huge portion and not a plate you can find at many restaurants. The tres leche was a perfect end to a delicious dinner. To drink, I ordered a Stella, which was refreshing. The service at the table was great. We were there for hours talking and not once did we feel rushed. This is definitely a great spot to come whenever you want something good to eat in the Gables.
I had an absolutely outstanding experience at Hillstone on Miracle Mile. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. We began with the grilled artichoke, which was perfectly tender with a delicious smoky flavor. An absolute must order. The ribs were fall-off-the bone tender. The Alaskan char was cooked perfectly, light, flaky, and incredibly fresh with a delicate, clean flavor. The French dip was equally impressive. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. To finish, the brownie à la mode was pure indulgence. Warm, decadent, and paired perfectly with the ice cream. And the martini? Crisp, cold, and expertly made. Halfway through the waiter brought a fresh chilled glass and poured the remaining drink into that. Impressive! Between the incredible food, polished service, and inviting atmosphere, this place truly delivers a top tier dining experience. So appreciated that large parties and small children are discouraged. Makes for a relaxing evening of conversation. Easily a 5-star night. I can’t wait to return!
Hillstone in my opinion is one of the best and most consistent American restaurant in terms of food, service, and atmosphere. The down side is that everyone knows this so the place is always packed and wait the wait time for a table can be long. With that said nothing that sitting at the bar with a drink and their famous spinach dip can’t fix (for drinks I typically go with the Crush - vodka, lemon, and grapes). When it comes to food it all depends on what you are in the mood food, as everything is delicious. On this opportunity we got the Dings Crispy Chicken sandwich and the press sushi, both excellent choices. I can assure you’ll have a great meal and time, as their servers are always very welcoming and on top of their game.
This is always a great choice. For years, my team and I have been visiting different Houston’s and Hillstone locations across the U.S. They are consistently on point — always going above and beyond with service, always delivering amazing food, and always crafting incredible drinks. What makes it even better is that each location has its own unique atmosphere, thoughtfully adapted to the local demographics, while still maintaining the same high standard we’ve come to expect. 1,000% recomended.
