Opgericht in 1966, is B&B Italia opgericht met een sterke industriële en technologische roeping die de ontwerpindustrie leidt op het gebied van vakmanschap en innovatie. De nauwe dialoog tussen de ontwerpers en architecten waarmee B&B Italia samenwerkt, leidt tot creativiteit die fundamenteel is geweest voor het opbouwen van de geschiedenis van B&B Italia door de jaren heen.

Ondanks de universele crisis is het bedrijf niet gestopt met innoveren en aanpassen - investeren in zowel fysieke ruimtes als technologisch onderzoek om een nieuw concept te creëren. De manier waarop consumenten in een ruimte zullen interageren, verandert; B&B Italia heeft het oorspronkelijke showroomontwerp geëvolueerd om een nieuwe benadering te introduceren, die de ervaring van de consument zal veranderen via fysieke en digitale touchpoints bij de opening van de eerste showroom van het merk in Miami (900 vierkante meter).
