Okay, so this place is really cute and perfect for Instagram photos, but that's pretty much all it has going for it. I ordered the pizza, and it was quite disappointing. That wouldn't have been so bad if the service had been decent, but it took about 20 minutes of really trying to get a waiter's attention before someone finally looked our way. It honestly felt like the place cared more about looking good than actually serving food and running a proper business. The bartenders were attentive, at least – obviously, they have to notice you when you're right there. But the rest of the service was a disorganized mess, and I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here because of it. The space itself is lovely, though. So, if you just want to grab a bottle of wine and sit outside, go for it. Just don't expect to order anything else.
A friend who was visiting and I went for drinks and apps here on a Saturday night, it was super empty when we got there but filled up as we were heading out. The cocktails were tasty, and the charcuterie was delicious, we also ordered a pizza which was also yummy! I would visit this spot again for the atmosphere alone, it was so green and lush, you didn’t feel like you were in Miami!
Maria is absolutely amazing! Every time I visit River House, she takes care of me and always provides exceptional service. She’s friendly, attentive, professional, and consistently makes every visit feel special. No matter how busy the place gets, she always makes sure everything is perfect and that her guests are well taken care of. Her positive attitude and attention to detail are a big reason why I keep coming back. Thank you, Maria, for always delivering such a wonderful dining experience!
Came here for a birthday and the atmosphere was really it! I ordered a Bonnie & Clyde cocktail and I liked it a lot, enough to stick to it for the rest of the night. We sang happy birthday with a pizza topped with nutella, strawberries and banana and had a really good time!
River House was a great place to hang out and have some drinks for a few hours. The ambiance truly makes this place. The entrance is an Old Florida house that opens up to a large backyard with lots of trees and fairy lights. The service was fast and the drinks were great. We don’t get to go inside the bus but will try next time we go.
