We offer a private van tour for up to 5 guests, so you can comfortably discover Newport, Rhode Island. The private tour overview of the City by the Sea lasts roughly 90 or add 1 hour if you wish to go inside and tour one of the spectacular Gilded Age Mansions. You will travel and exlpore at a comfortable pace without being jammed inside a bus tour with 35 other guests, who may not share the same interests or wish to see the things you want to experience. The fully narrated tour will take you through the colonial section, with some homes dating back to the 17th and 18th Century. We travel along the 10 mile Ocean Drive then pass along Bellevue Avenue, the summer getaway of the Gilded Age tycoons and their families. Mansion Admission Tickets can be purchased from your guide if you wish to enter a guilded age Mansion. Keep in mind your tour last roughly 90 minutes. If you wish to visit 1 mansion during the excursion. there is an additional fee for mansion admission tickets. We charge our cost, $20 dollars to tour the Marble House, Rosecliff or the Elms, $25 to visit the Breakers Mansion. As a courtesy to our guests, if you purchase the Mansion Tickets from your guide at tour time, we will stand by for 1 extra hour at no additional cost. To visit more than 1 mansion you must book the prior or following tour time slot. (Sadly our time together is not unlimited! There are frequently other guests booked before and/ or after your tour time. Thanks for your understanding!)

Important Information

• The private tour price is per person up to 5 guests total. Please include the request for mansion tickets when you make the reservation so your guide has the tickets for your outing. 1 mansion visit is doable within the time set aside for your tour. Your guide will wait for you during the mansion visit and continue the tour when you are finished, returning you to the starting location.
