Location, location, location! Perfect for cruise travel pre or post stay, close to shopping, dining, and parks/venues right across the street. You can drop your bags with staff/security and start your vacation. Your room will not be ready early for check in as they charge a 50 dollar early check in fee. There is also a 25 dollar resort fee that covers a gym and welcome drink. The room itself was a 4.5 out of 10. For a budget vacation with time spent in the room to refuel and get back on the streets to explore, it would be perfect. If you want to relax, feel comfortable, experience any iota of luxury don't stay here. Bathroom was small and an afterthought. You can use the toilet with outstretched hands and wash them in the tiny sink in front of you and raise your left leg on the edge of the old tub. I placed a towel in the shower because I didn't want the contact with the surface. The water pressure was soft but fine. Hallways were loud and echoing when people were loud and having fun into the wee hours of the night. CVS is next door and an outdoor mall across the street 50 or more stores and dining.
OK, the reason why I give it four stars when I was only there for one night because I had to catch a cruise. Check-in was great staff greeting me like I’ve been coming to the hotel for years. The room were like a studio apartments but hey, if you only stand for one day it’s worth it. The vibe was both for the young and old. The bartenders were awesome. They great mixed drinks. Food was good as well. The location was downtown Miami so 2 to 4 blocks over. You had all the shopping spree and all the eatery and nightclubs right there as well wasn’t dirty in that area at all. I will if I come back I will stay in this hotel again next time I take pictures, but the pictures are what you see is what you get.
I’m giving YVE Hotel Miami 3 stars. During my two-day stay, they never replenished the water in my room and didn’t remove the trash from either the bathroom or the room, which is something basic that should definitely be improved. Also, the room was much smaller than expected. The best part of the hotel was definitely the valet parking service — that was truly 5 stars. The staff was fast, friendly, and very efficient. Thanks to them, the overall experience was much better. I have been trying to contact you to receive a copy of my invoice by email due to a charge on my credit card that I do not recognize. It has been very difficult to get in touch with someone. Could you please contact me so I can receive my receipt by email and understand what this charge on my credit card is for, as I have no idea what it relates to? Thank you very much.
The rooms are terrible. They are super small. The bathroom is the smallest that I think that I have ever seen. The carpet has a big stain and had something all over it. It did not look like it had been vacuumed. Only 2 bath towels and 2 washcloth no hand towel. No refrigerator or microwave. Basically it has a TV and phone and nothing else. This room was over $350 and it certainly was not worth it. For that price I thought that I was getting an upscale hotel. The location is great and the lady at the front counter was very friendly. Only hear one night before a cruise. If more than one I would have had to move on to another hotel.
