Reviews
This is a cute, little boutique style hotel. We were here for several days & nights. The service is great. They offer 24 hour water, coffee, tea, fridge, and microwave in the kitchen area. The coffee is so good. The water is more than likely tap (it's in a glass jug container with ice). Cups (reusable & disposable) along with utensils are available if needed. The microwave sits low under the coffee/tea supplies hidden in a cabinet. There is no elevator but they have people that will take your bags up and down the stairs. Most of the cleaning staff do not speak English. 1 morning, we placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. The maid came in anyway. Luckily I was sitting on the bed, fully clothed & watching TV. However, I wasn't happy about it. There's no pool. Beach is like 2 blocks away on Ocean Drive. They offer a continental breakfast from 7:30am-10am. It's like Eggo waffles, cold cut meat, cheese, bagels, coffee. The location is GREAT! Even if you sit on the porch and people watch, you'll see a lot of action. There are restaurants all along the street and stores within walking distance.
We stayed here for 3 nights and we liked this hotel. The rooms are on the small side but they are clean and everyone was very friendly and helpful. It’s close to the beach and the staff provides beach towels, chairs and umbrellas which is great. The breakfast is your standard continental buffet style bread, jam, coffee, tea , yogurt etc. so don’t expect anything special. We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.
The staff at the Shepley and the ideal location, was the best part of the stay. The rooms were on the smaller side, which was a little surprising from the pictures we saw. The showerhead didn't work fully and storage was limited, but we managed. Breakfast was included though we didn't partake as seats to enjoy breakfast were limited and didnt want to harass ourselves. Overall, we enjoyed out time and stay, but for a longer stay or with children, it may not be ideal.
We were charmed by this hotel’s unique vibe and super friendly staff. The location is unbeatable for exploring everything South Beach has to offer. The rooms have older furniture, but it actually complements the hotel’s aesthetic and adds to its charm. Also, really appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room and during breakfast!
We stayed here for 3 nights over New Year, it was exactly as we wanted. Having never been to Miami before we were only going off reviews and online posts. The Shepley Hotel is in a great location, a minute or so from the beach, close to restaurants and shopping. Our room was on first floor facing the street and we were happy with the size of the room and the amenities. The bed was super comfortable, one of the best hotel beds we have found. Air conditioning worked well, even though it wasn't overly hot outside. We enjoyed our continental breakfast each day, there was enough to suit our needs. We would gladly stay again if we return.
