Reviews
The room was large and spacious, the shower was oversized, the bed was comfortable. The room was very warm though. They did have a stand up a/c added in the room to try to help with the heat, but even with that it was still 77 in the room most days. I never really saw house keeping, I had to ask a few times for more towels. Location was great. You will have to pay to park in a garage and walk, or pay $49 a day to valet.
This hotel & beach club was a great pic. It is on Collins Ave and at a perfect location. When we first walked in I was greeted by Santiago the host behind the desk. He was great he gave suggestions on where to go for lunch and breakfast, he was welcoming and warm, and he even provided us with an incentive regarding our stay. He was clear about how the location works (seeing as though they have three towers with restaurants and pools connected). Santiago did a great job!!! The doorman and the security were also perfect during this stay. On the other hand the hotel was clean and smelled great. It also had two places to eat connected to it which was a plus. We did not leave the block we were on for a few days and that made for a great stay, but we were provided all we needed. Catalina I will be back for another stay with you guys. 10/10 would recommend.
Excellent location near Miami Beach attractions. No parking to speak of. Valet only. Rooms have been renovated by amateur handymen hired by a company which clearly tried to save money by cutting corners on finishes and limiting interior demolition. The access to our room was literally through a restaraunt. On a side note, if you choose to eat at the restaraunt, the men's room only contains a urinal. Defecate in the bushes out front. There IS an elevator in the lobby which was broken. Not to worry, though. There was another elevator in the next building... which was broken. I was stoked because there was an on-site sushi bar which was closed when we got there Sunday morning. But then, it stayed closed the rest of the day. However, on Monday, it was also closed the entire day. Almost certain it's just there for ambiance. Would not recommend unless the price is lower than Holiday Inn. Even then, I'd still stay at the Holiday Inn instead.
