Reviews
First, the hotel is clean and I felt extremely safe. If your normal accommodations are places like the Ritz or the Four Seasons, then this hotel won't meet your standard. However, for most people, this hotel will definitely meet your needs. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay again. The rooftop area is a nice addition and the 2nd pool was great as well. The location was great! Literally 2 blocks to the beach, a block away from Collins Ave. Pro tip: use the free trolley when you can. It goes to most places on the strip and there's a stop right outside of the hotel. Also, public transportation (bus) is a great resource for travelling up and down the strip. Lastly, if you are booking the breakfast included rate, the breakfast is at a Sister hotel (Catalina-about a 5-10 minute walk around the corner). The breakfast was pretty good (eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, wraps, potatoes, yogurt, granola, juice, coffee). The only downside was the towel replacement in rooms. At minimum, a towel and washcloth should be left for each guest in the room. I did have to request towels from the front desk and that's a little annoying. Overall, solid stay!
I had a wonderful stay at Riviera South Beach Miami. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to explore South Beach and enjoy the nearby restaurants and beaches. A special thank you to Cristian at the reception. His hospitality was outstanding from the moment I arrived. He was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. He made the check in process smooth and took the time to answer my questions and recommend places to visit, which made my trip even better. Excellent customer service can make all the difference, and Cristian truly represents the hotel at its best. I highly recommend Riviera South Beach Miami and would gladly stay here again.
Staying at Riviera Hotel made my weekend stay easy & comfortable. To start, Dania & Cristian, the front desk hostess & host, were so accommodating. Not only were they helpful to me, but just watching them from afar, using their patience & concern for other guest who were arriving, made me feel at ease. My Sister & I got the double bed with balcony. It was refreshing to be able to have that option with privacy if I didn't want to commune with people. Our balcony did not face the main street, which was a plus. Through the area is pretty quiet for it to be on South Beach, there is a restaurant that stays open late, that you can hear guest if they're loud from having a time. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. We have NO COMPLAINTS. My stay there was from April 23rd to 26th. The location was PERFECT. Close to the Convention Center, which is were we spent most of our time for the Millions Conference. I'd definitely stay here again because of the hospitality & location.
Best value in South Beach — 5 stars! This was our third time at Riviera Hotel South Beach! A huge thank you to Nelson, who went above and beyond to make our trip special — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The whole team was just as welcoming, and the cleaning staff kept our room spotless every day. The location can’t be beat — beach, restaurants, and nightlife all within an easy walk. Despite the lively area, the hotel has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. Great service, unbeatable location, and the best value for money in South Beach. We’ll definitely be back — thank you, Nelson and team!
My stay at Riviera Suites was truly a great experience! The hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and in a great location, but I especially want to take a moment to recognize Christian at the front desk. Christian went above and beyond with his kindness, professionalism, patience, and willingness to help. From answering questions to making sure guests felt comfortable and taken care of, his customer service was exceptional. A friendly face and positive attitude can really make a difference when traveling, and Christian definitely did that. Thank you, Riviera Suites, for the hospitality, and a special thank you to Christian for making my stay smoother, easier, and more enjoyable. Employees like him are truly an asset to your team! — Londa
