Great stay. Excellent service by Ariel at the reception desk. Rooms big, clean and comfortable. The hotel is a few steps from the beach. Really convenient if you want to stay walking distance to the water. Have to give thanks again to Ariel for taking care of all of our requests.
Overall a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn South Beach! From the time we walked in the man at the front desk was engaged and friendly. Honestly, every person we encountered from housekeeping to the dining area were friendly. The location is only a 2-minute or less walk to the beach and very walkable to local markets and food. Check-in was fast, the service was excellent, and I loved that they provide daily housekeeping. The lobby is also a very nice social spot. A few things to note: The rooms are a bit smaller than what we are used to for 2 queen beds, and there is no pool at this location. Also, valet parking is not on-site; it is located around the corner at the AC Hotel. We found it best to leave our car parked for the duration of our stay and just take Ubers to get around the city. It was much easier and very convenient! We would definitely stay here again.
Expensive for what you get. The shower is a bit small, which is fine for one person, but the water was only actually decently hot in 2 out of 4 showers. Other times, I’d say it was about a 4/10 temperature, it wasn’t freezing but definitely not comfortable. The breakfast was $22 per person plus tax/tip… definitely not worth it. It’s basically eggs, sausage, bacon, and chopped up potatoes. Condiments were scarce. The milk, water, and orange juice weren’t cold or chilled. Just lukewarm. Not worth $22. My partner literally got 3 pieces of bacon, 4 cubes of melon, and warm water. Such a waste. As others said, staff are probably doing the best they can based on their resources and leadership.
We had a really great stay at this hotel. The location is awesome — super close to the beach, restaurants, and everything you need. The room was very clean and comfortable too. Big shoutout to Carolina Gonzalez at the front desk. She was so friendly and welcoming, and gave us some great local recommendations to help us plan our weekend. We always love getting tips from locals, and she definitely delivered. She made our stay even better! Well worthy of a Hilton experience. Would definitely stay here again.
Love this little hotel. One block from the beach easy access. You can even rent beach chairs for the day. Our room was spacious and because we were on a upper level, we could actually see the water from our room. The staff were very informative. The only disappointment is there was no one serving coffee two mornings. But no worries there’s plenty of coffee places to choose from down the street. Highly recommend this location.
