Not sure if I would stay again. Seems like a great deal and then the fees kick in. Valet service you HAVE to use, resort fees at $60 a day, $25 unstocking mini fridge fee, outrageous mini bar fees and even bathroom hairbrush and accessory fees. It looks nice and upscale and rooms are spacious BUT it's starch white rooms and hallways. Like they just cover everything in white paint. Also the pool closes at 6pm. We never even got to use it. Just trying to do too much.

My wife and I chose to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary in Miami and were excited about what seemed like a great hotel based on both the location and price. Unfortunately, our experience with the hotel’s parking and customer service left a very disappointing impression. Now, I’m fair, If I’m going to write a review its going to be honest. The room was clean with partial views of both the bay and ocean and we were welcomed with bottle of wine. 🥰 great pool area with beach access. Now, to conclude, We arrived around 3:30 AM after a long drive and were informed by the front desk that we could either pay for self-parking or valet parking. Since we were exhausted, we spoke directly with the valet clerk, who offered us what we believed was a reasonable VIP valet rate, which we paid upfront. However, upon checkout, we were told we were also responsible for additional daily parking charges on top of the valet fee we had already paid. When I calmly explained the situation to the front desk, my concerns were dismissed, and I was repeatedly told that I still had to pay the extra charges. I requested to speak with a General Manager, but instead of attempting to understand or resolve the issue, the response remained the same: pay the balance. At that point, after what was supposed to be a special anniversary getaway, I simply wanted to settle the matter and begin the long drive home. The issue ultimately wasn’t about the money — it was about the complete lack of accountability, empathy, and customer service. Mistakes and miscommunication can happen, but the unwillingness to even acknowledge the situation or offer any type of resolution turned an otherwise enjoyable trip into a frustrating experience.

After reading these reviews, I was quite nervous about our stay at the Grand a beach Miami. I’m happy to report, I found none of the negative reviews to be accurate. We arrived about 1am, the front desk staff was pleasant. Within 5 minutes of entering the hotel, we were in our room. A bottle of wine and two glasses awaited us, a lovely surprise. We found the wet bar to be well stocked, the rooms incredibly spacious, and the view spectacular. I immediately checked the showers, worried after reading some of the other reviews. Both showers were spotless. We called the front desk to ask for another blanket, it was at our door within minutes. Other positives are that the beaches to the left and right were totally vacant during our entire stay. We always found a beach or pool chair. There were plenty of umbrellas by the pool; so easy to stay out of the sun. They have robes and slippers in the room for you. The hotel gym was pretty nice; squat rack, smith machine, kettlebells, dumbbells, various cardio and strength training machines. There’s a path along the beach at the back of the hotel that’s really nice if jogging or walking is your thing. There were only a couple small cons. The food and drinks are expensive. Think we paid $20 per cocktail, $100 on breakfast. There’s no where else around to get food. We doordashed, most of our meals. There is a restaurant on site, but the menu is limited. There is the free trolly, about 10 minutes on the trolly and we had access to restaurants and shops. That wouldn’t dissuade us from coming again. My wife and I left our 4 night stay feeling rejuvenated.

Irecently stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel in Miami with my family, including our 3-year-old toddler. The hotel's location is fantastic, situated right on the beach, but there are limited options for activities nearby. To access dining, shopping, or entertainment, you'll need to take an Uber, which takes about 10-15 minutes. The hotel features a small coffee shop that is quite nice, as well as an on-site restaurant. While the restaurant is decent, the service can be slow, so be prepared for a Long wait. Additionally, finding food in the surrounding area can be challenging. On the positive side, the hotel's pools are excellent and heated, providing a calm and relaxing atmosphere—definitely not a party vibe. As for the staff, they were satisfactory and completed our requests, but they didn’t exude warmth or go the extra mile in terms of service. Our accommodations were clean, and we stayed in a spacious two-bedroom suite. However, the furniture felt a bit modular and odd. Unfortunately, we faced issues with the air conditioning, which broke down every day but was fixed promptly by the maintenance staff. The sink also stopped working at one point, but it was repaired as well. Overall, this hotel is good, but not exceptional.
