Pros: The hotel is close to the airport and offers a free shuttle and a decent complimentary American breakfast. They also stored our luggage for a few days for $5 per suitcase, per night, which was very convenient. The suite was spacious enough for a family of five. Cons: The biggest issue was the noise. The hotel is located directly under a flight path. During our first stay, we were in room 803, facing the highway, and the traffic noise was very disturbing. On our second stay, we were in room 830 on the other side of the hotel, but that room faced the train tracks, and we heard trains throughout the night. Despite being on a high floor, we could not get a good night’s sleep during either stay. In my opinion, paying extra for a view or balcony is not worth it, especially since the surrounding noise makes it difficult to enjoy. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is sensitive to noise.
The best part of Embassy Suites are the friendly and kind staff! General Manager Anthony Castro is exceptional at what he does. His customer service to get repeat customers is evident and impressive. We arrived 15 minutes before Happy hour was over and were given complimentary tickets for drinks and some salsa,chips, and vegetables for a little snack, plus breakfast the next day which was good. They have a made to order omlettestation Yamileth head of breakfast,is such an asset to the your company and the values it strives for in regard to kindness, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. She's your shining star.The complimentary shuttle to and from the airport which is 15 minutes away is terrific in a nice van with cool air-conditioning and a safe and friendly driver. Once settled we ordered club sandwiches and salad which were terrific served by Juan such a joy and kind heart to put together our order after deciding to head to our room after a long day . Thank you Juan. You didn't miss a beat.Our server was wonderful. Our room was very clean, layout terrific with separate rooms, one for dining watching t.v. and the other for sleeping on a comfortable bed with soft pillows. Rooms could use a more modern touch but comfortable. Note, Airport noise was very loud with planes taking off on a regular basis this morning inparticular keeping us from extra sleep we so needed so keep that in mind. The positives are many as mentioned along with a beautiful lobby, restaurant, and pool and gym.
Born, and raised in Miami— this is the only hotel I'll stay at long term. The best of the best. Especially if you utilize your Hilton honor membership which I highly recommend signing up for. Thank you to all the staff from the cleaning crew, to the front desk, to the lady checking breakfast vouchers. Every time I stay here, it reminds me why this is the only hotel I'll stay at. I've been renting here since 2007 so you can imagine I've been coming here for nearly 2 decades! Since I was old enough to rent, and back then you only had to be 18+. Other than the age check in which is great they upped it to 21, the hotel gives me nostalgic vibes, and I will say this with certainty.. The hotel management and front desk truly go above and beyond to meet your accommodations accordingly. If you're searching for a good hotel very close to M.I.A. look no further— This is the place for you, and your loved ones. Family oriented, the continental breakfast is A1, the pool area is very clean, and the entire hotel has been kept up to date. Thank you for putting up with me and my scooter for an entire week. You guys made my moving process a breeze with no worry. 10/10 Definitely recommend.
The location of the hotel was great, close to the airport, and the shuttle drivers were friendly and punctional. The layout of the hotel is nice, with the extensive breakfast spread close by. The room layout was perfect with the living room space and bedroom separated. The elephant and swan towels were lovely touches. My only concern was upon entry into our room, we were hit with a weird, off-putting smell that got stronger with mildew and mold closer to the bathroom. You got used to it but it would keep wafting. If not for a 1 night quick stay, I would have requested another immediately. Definitely put a damper on what we thought would have been a pleasant stay.
