Reviews
This Hotel location is perfect for next day Miami departure travel back home. Rooms are large , the Gym is large and well equipped and the Happy Hour snack spread is delicious. Breakfast is all you need to satisfy any hunger for several hours on your way home and the coffee is good. Shower water pressure is Great!
This hotel experiences high occupancy, with a consistent influx of pilots, patients, and large families at various times. The lobby area is pleasant, provided one can find a suitable seating spot. There are no scenic views upon entering the hotel or from any of the hotel’s windows. The shower provided a steady and hot stream, and the bed and bedding were comfortable. The kitchenette area is accommodating, especially for guests traveling with family or staying for an extended period. My room appeared superficially clean, however, it was actually dirty, with broken toenail clippings found near the bed and in the kitchen area. Fortunately, I travel with my own cleaning supplies. The room was adequate, with excellent air conditioning, which I barely used because I felt excessively cold. One of the reasons for selecting this accommodation was the inclusion of breakfast. Don't waste your time. If breakfast is the deciding factor, they only serve pork, and the coffee was one degree hotter than iced coffee. There is a shuttle to and from airport, running every half hour up to 11pm, you don't have to RSVP. No hairdryer in the rm.
We stayed for only one night and chose this Element property because we had a wonderful experience at the Element in Chattanooga. Unfortunately, this location did not meet the same standards. The complimentary breakfast was much more limited than what we experienced in Chattanooga. The selection was basic, mainly consisting of eggs and sausage, with very few additional options. The Chobani yogurt section did not seem fresh, and the yogurt tasted old. We were also surprised that there were no individual packets of blueberry or strawberry spread available. Instead, communal containers were provided, which felt less hygienic. The room layout felt smaller and less spacious than expected. We booked the room for five guests, but upon arrival there were only three towels provided. In addition, the sofa bed did not have blankets or sheets prepared in the room, requiring us to request additional bedding. Another disappointment was the parking fee. As paying hotel guests, we did not expect to be charged extra for parking. While we understand that some hotels charge for parking, it felt like an unnecessary additional expense after already paying for the room. While the hotel was clean and the staff was courteous, the overall experience fell short of our expectations based on previous stays at other Element properties. We hope management can address these issues to provide a more consistent guest experience across the brand.
Overall, this is is a really nice hotel and I enjoyed my one night stay. The room was lovely and the bed extremely comfortable. It was also quiet which I appreciated. Excellent staff and the gym is well equipped. The only downside was the breakfast. While complimentary, it was very basic and lacking. Also not a fan of the 'stool-chairs' in the breakfast area. Make sure to try the Latin-inspired 'Diyon' hot dogs at the store next door.
I've stayed here multiple times over the past decade and it has been very reliable. Large rooms that are clean with nice bathrooms. The lobby area is spacious. Hotel shuttle has been efficient (Pro Tip: Use the one from Even Hotel's if you are coming in early or late). WiFi has been fast. Staff has been helpful. I also like the breakfast buffet. This hotel is in a weird area, so expect to either use delivery services or take rideshare wherever you plan to go.
