3 stars. Beautiful room and friendly staff, but the hotel’s design fatally undermines its own guest experience. There’s a restaurant built into a walkway with rooms on both sides, and music plays through speakers from 9am to 11pm on weekdays, right next to the rooms. It made it impossible to fall asleep early, which I needed for a work trip. When I raised this with the manager, I was told the music runs until 11pm and that I should still be able to sleep. I explained I need to be asleep by 9/10pm for work. She just said sorry, with no real solution offered. To add to it, housekeeping discarded my earplugs during a room clean, which made the noise even harder to manage. I wish this layout and noise policy had been disclosed at check-in — I would have chosen a different hotel if I’d known. The noise does not match what is advertised on their website. Beautiful space, but not built for anyone who needs quiet or an early night.
Donatella offers something rare in a city of mega hotels: a genuine boutique experience with high end rooms, luxury touches and high class dining - all within touching distance of the Art Deco district, South Beach, Lincoln Ave, Española Way. The rooms instantly provide calm, with crisp modern interiors supplemented by quality linens and towels for added comfort. Rooms are a fantastic size for a couple (we stayed in Bianca), with the bathroom a real standout floorplan. Our room was kept spotless throughout our stay and the restaurant below oozes quality in every glass and plate. A stunning South Beach stay, book now before someone else does!
The location is very central, situated between the north and south sides of South Beach. The service was excellent, and the rooms are beautiful. It’s a bit noisy at night with the restaurant, but it quiets down around 11. This didn’t really affect us since we stayed up late anyway, but it's something to consider if you’re staying here. Overall, I would definitely recommend this beautiful, stylish, and comfortable hotel with a fantastic location and great service!
Beautiful place. He food is completely delicious. Quietly removed in a hassle environment. Kind and generous associates make your dining experience exceptional. Leonardo completely changed the way a known drink taste. Maybe it was in the way he poured it in the glass. He is an exceptional associate and glad he was there the day I stopped. No Regrets. Do walk past this wonderful experience.
We had an amazing stay at Donatella Boutique Hotel. The customer service was truly exceptional—warm, attentive, and thoughtful from start to finish. We felt genuinely cared for the entire time. The room was absolutely beautiful: stylish and incredibly comfortable. What really stood out was how private and peaceful it felt—tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Collins Ave—yet still perfectly close to everything. It was the best of both worlds: quiet and relaxing, but steps from great food, shopping, and the beach. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel with charm, comfort, and top-notch service in an unbeatable location, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again.
