I arrived last night with a confirmed reservation through Expedia (which I confirmed and paid for months ago) and was told that the hotel was overbooked and no rooms were available. I was told there was nothing to be done and to contact Expedia. I then called Expedia customer service who said they were unable to get in touch with anyone from the hotel to confirm if they were overbooked (I was literally sitting in the lobby looking directly at the front desk watching other people with their families and luggage being turned away), and was told there was nothing that they could do unless they confirmed with the hotel. A lot of back and forth and me at 11pm after a long travel day trying to find a last minute hotel in Miami. I'm highly disappointed by both companies but Comfort Inn did not have to accept the reservation knowing they were oversold. I'd recommend folks not stay here as it's a gamble if you will actually have a room, although your money has been taken. Not a great way to start a vacation.
Family of 5 visiting Miami, we had a great time , actually for the price we pay, plus free breakfast? That’s was a steal ! Staff is friendly. Very clean rooms, we stayed in the 9th floor , it is quiet. Also this hotel is quite close to the bay , we got on the train and had fun . they offer Valet parking . Thanks to all the staff 🫶🏽
Stayed: June 21, 2026 I had a wonderful experience at the Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown Brickell–Port of Miami, and I especially want to recognize Marlon, Yenier, and Silveria for their outstanding customer service. My cruise ship docked early, and I arrived at the hotel around 8:30 a.m. on June 21, 2026, well before the normal check-in time. I was traveling with my elderly mother, so I was hoping we could get into our room as soon as possible to let her rest. Since I have the American Express early check-in benefit, I was hopeful a room might become available. Although they couldn't guarantee an early check-in, they kindly stored our luggage so we didn't have to carry it around the city. Throughout the morning and early afternoon, I watched the front desk manage a constant flow of guests checking out after their cruises and new guests arriving before theirs. Some travelers were understandably impatient, and a few were even rude, but Marlon, Yenier, and Silveria never lost their professionalism. They remained calm, patient, courteous, and respectful with every guest they encountered. I checked in with them four or five times between 8:30 a.m. and the afternoon to see if our room might be ready. Each time, they greeted me warmly, explained that while they couldn't promise an early check-in, they would get us into a room as soon as one became available. They kept me informed throughout the day, and as soon as a room was ready, they checked us in. Their professionalism, patience, and genuine care made a lasting impression on me. They turned what could have been a stressful wait into a pleasant experience, especially since I was traveling with my mother. Watching them handle the busy cruise crowd with grace and kindness showed me how committed they are to providing exceptional customer service. Thank you, Marlon, Yenier, and Silveria. Your kindness, professionalism, and dedication did not go unnoticed. You are tremendous ambassadors for your hotel, and because of the outstanding service you provided, I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone cruising from the Port of Miami. I hope people can be kind and patient with you all because I witnessed all of the hard work that you do!
Rooms were clean, the bartender made great drinks, pool was refreshing, and the burger was delicious. This was a great spot to stay before we went on our cruise out of the Port of Miami. We would stay here again.
I recently stayed at the hotel and honestly had a very good experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was excellent—the staff was always friendly and willing to help with anything. I would especially like to highlight the receptionist, Gimena, who was very kind and provided excellent service from the moment I arrived until I left. That kind of attention really makes a difference and adds a lot to the overall stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, which made my stay very pleasant. In addition, the facilities in general were well-maintained and in great condition. The location is also a strong point, as it makes it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Without a doubt, it’s a place I would return to and highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort and great service.
