Had a wonderful experience here. In the heart of Coral Gables. The staff was absolutely delightful. They were very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Loved how even the staff that didn't help us would say hello and smile at us throughout the stay. The place is a historic landmark, so keep that in mind when you book. You are staying in a landmark! The "dated" feel is part of the appeal. We had a large room. Lots of space. Everything looked, felt, and smelled clean. Bathroom was quaint and elegant. Not super spacious, but you aren't going to be spending the trip in the bathroom, right? Loved the whimsical nature of this place. I would absolutely return. Had a king sized room with bed and it felt like it. Not like other places that claim the room is large and you get a box. Parking is available on street and in the garage across the street. This was a prime spot to walk around miracle mile and explore. There are also restaurants on the first floor, so you don't have to go far to find a bite if you don't want. If you can afford the stay, go for it.
This is by far the best hotel we have stayed at. Great location next to great dining, the bed was super comfortable, and quiet fans/AC that worked well. The old school architecture was amazing to look at and the shower was huge. I highly recommend booking here.
Great location in the heart of coral gables. We came back a second time because of the great - safe atmosphere and service. The restaurant downstairs is the best quality we had for an Italian restaurant we have been to in the US.
Stepping into Hotel St. Michel feels like being transported to a boutique hotel in Paris. The historic architecture has been preserved beautifully, giving it a character you just can't find in modern chains. It’s located right in the heart of Coral Gables, making it incredibly easy to walk to nearby shops and cafes. The staff treats you with a level of personal care that matches the intimate, vintage atmosphere of the property. A true gem for those who appreciate charm and history.
Absolutely WONDERFUL hotel! If you love a vintage Bed and Breakfast vibe, this is for you. The staff is so kind and accommodating. The room was so comfortable, bed was fantastic and amenities including free filtered water every day was top notch. You would have to pay for parking at any hotel in Coral Gables, so it really isn’t a deterrent. Can’t wait to stay here again!
