Medium Cool Cocktail Lounge
Miami
Recenzje
What a vibe! Super cool jazz, when the dj arrived it became a true party. Good drinks, fast service and an overall good time. Only bad thing is the shared bathrooms.. As a woman, I dont feel comfortable sharing bathroom with men. Other than that, great place.
This spot is a vibe. I am Miami-raised, but I still love finding spots on the beach that feel fresh, grown, and intentional. This place absolutely delivered just that. The atmosphere is moody, stylish, and intimate without feeling stiff. It has that low-lit lounge feel with great music, beautiful drinks, and a crowd that actually feels like they came out to enjoy the night, not just stand around looking bored. The live jazz band was excellent and really pulled the whole room together. It felt relaxed, classy, and cool without trying too hard. I had the Jack & Ginger and a Tropical Sour, and everything was well-made and balanced. The drinks had personality, but they weren’t doing too much. Just good cocktails in a beautiful setting. Our attendant, Sarah, was wonderful. She was attentive, patient, kind, and took her time explaining the menu and the drinks. We even got a little Italian lesson, which made the night feel even more personal and fun. Service like that makes a place memorable. Also, clean bathroom. Listen. That matters. Points were earned. This was a 10/10 experience for me. Great drinks, great music, great service, great atmosphere. Definitely the kind of spot I will be coming back to when I want a nice night out on the beach without the chaos.
The ambiance is that of a speakeasy bar, located downstairs and with dim lighting, you teleport outside of Miami for a bit to listen to live jazz bands and great cocktails! Happy to come back!
Medium Cool was such a great find. The atmosphere is stylish but relaxed, and the jazz band was a great surprise that really set the mood. The cocktails were delicious, and Danny is an excellent bartender who clearly knows what he’s doing. We’ll definitely be back.
Unfortunately, they weren’t serving food when we visited. This was the first “live music” restaurant we visited in Miami and it was disappointing. Think of it as some locals performing. The drinks are up-charged no matter what you end up getting. To add to all this, the servers working here were some of the most soulless and uninterested people that we’ve ever interacted with. The only positive experience was the upscale atmosphere, but this alone didn’t keep us long.
