If you're looking for one of Coral Gables' finest dining experiences, MIKA,should be at the top of your list. Co-owned by acclaimed Michelin-starred chef Michael White, this elegant coastal Mediterranean restaurant delivers excellence from the moment you walk through the door. The sophisticated décor creates a warm yet refined atmosphere, while the cocktail program is every bit as impressive as the cuisine. ( I enjoyed the real candles instead of LED's) Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The standout for me was the perfectly prepared Dover sole:delicate, buttery, and simply unforgettable. The Wagyu beef carpaccio was another highlight, melting in your mouth with every bite, and the panna cotta provided the perfect light and creamy ending to an exceptional meal. What truly elevated the evening, however, was the impeccable hospitality. The seasoned Maître d', Salomon, is the heart of the dining room. His professionalism, warmth, and genuine attention to every guest make you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. It's increasingly rare to find someone who understands the art of true hospitality, and Salomon embodies it beautifully. MIKA is more than just an outstanding restaurant,it is a complete dining experience. From the elegant ambiance and expertly crafted cocktails to the remarkable cuisine and exceptional service, every detail is thoughtfully executed. I can't wait to return.
Mika offers an exquisitely refined dining experience, elevated by service that feels truly world‑class. The evening unfolded with precision, warmth, and an unmistakable sense of professionalism. Erik was the highlight of the night. His poise, timing, and intuitive understanding of hospitality set a standard rarely seen in Miami. Every interaction felt effortless, every recommendation — from dishes to wine — delivered with confidence and mastery. His presence alone elevated the entire experience. The dishes were beautifully executed, balanced, and presented with intention, perfectly aligned with the guidance we received throughout the evening. A memorable, elegant experience shaped by exceptional leadership and impeccable service.
My wife and I went to Mika for date night and had a wonderful experience. Eric was an outstanding server—friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. The food was spectacular, with every dish prepared and full of flavor. The only small suggestion I would make is regarding the tiramisu. It was delicious, but I think it could benefit from just a touch more coffee flavor to make it even better. Overall, a fantastic dining experience, and we look forward to coming back soon
We were in Miami as part of a preview for the FIFA World Cup 2026 event and had a few nights to dine out in the town. Mika in Coral Gables came highly recommended so we went. The atmosphere here is amazing. It is modern, chic and exciting. We had a table for four and our server Mihal was very accommodating, knowledgeable of the menu, demonstrated attention to detail and was an active listener. He helped us make choices from the menu that we enjoyed & exceeded our expectations. He selected some bottles of excellent Pinot Noir wine. We started with a sampling of crudos including mezzaluna, grilled octopus, beef carpaccio and insalata. We added some entrees including lobster risotto, veal parm chop and lobster burrata. It was an absolute culinary delight. All entrees were packed with unique flavors and perfectly prepared. Mihal helped us choose a few desserts to finish off the meal that were luscious and enjoyable. The manager, Antonio, came by our table multiple times to ensure our every need was met or exceeded. The dining here is high-end but worth it. Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you.

The house bread alone merits the visit — humble yet revelatory, the kind of detail that signals a kitchen with real intention. The wine program is thoughtfully curated, and the space achieves something genuinely difficult: an atmosphere that feels polished and considered while remaining entirely unpretentious. The aesthetic is cohesive and quietly beautiful — enhancing the meal without competing with it. Valet and garage parking make arrival as effortless as the evening itself.
