We came in for a late dinner and sat at the bar. The bartenders were nice, but not particularly quick. The food options are plentiful and we decided on two apps and an entree to share. The grilled shrimp were delicious and the seafood risotto had a lovely flavor and was chock full of a mix of seafood. We loved it. The Latin band that played was really good. But once they started it was way too loud to talk. However, it was a fun, lively atmosphere and overall enjoyable experience. This place makes for a great date night or to celebrate an event.
My experience at this restaurant was one of the worst I’ve ever had, mainly because of a situation that occurred during my visit. First of all, I want to highlight the waiter’s service, which was phenomenal. His name was Memo F, if I’m not mistaken. To be honest, the food was average. I ordered the octopus, which was a little tough to chew. I also had scallops, which were just okay. I did enjoy the skewered shrimp, the bolitas, and the tostones appetizers. In addition, I ordered a skirt steak, while my wife had the paella and couscous—both were average as well. I also ordered croquetas de jamón ibérico to go, and they were slightly burned, as you can see in the pictures. Now, the main issue was with the parking. A waitress, whose name I don’t know, told me that a parking attendant charged $10 to park in the gas station next to the restaurant. She personally brought the attendant to me, and I paid him $10 to park there. I asked three times if they were completely sure it was safe to park there and that my car wouldn’t be towed. They reassured me each time, saying not to worry and that he watched the cars every night as long as the $10 fee was paid. Long story short, about 30–40 minutes after I parked, a tow truck showed up to tow my car. Thankfully, I saw it in time and ran out to move my car before it was taken. It was a very uncomfortable situation, especially since I was in the middle of enjoying my meal. After that, I felt so upset and insulted that I completely lost my appetite. The parking attendant—who seems to be associated with the restaurant somehow directly or indirectly—is a liar and a scammer. The waitress never apologized, even though she was the one who suggested parking there without any risk. If you go to this restaurant, I strongly recommend paying for street parking located behind the building. Do not pay anyone who claims they will watch your car in the gas station. For context, I had just purchased my car brand new from the dealership—it’s a $70k vehicle. I chose this restaurant because it was one of the few places open late, around 11 PM to 1 AM, only to nearly have my car towed due to the negligence of that Waitress and parking attendant. I will not be returning. That’s how insulted and disappointed I felt when I left.
My server, Andrew made my night. He was incredibly busy, but still made me feel like a priority. He was courteous, thoughful and offered great recommendations. I came in looking to decompress and relax. He made sure that happened! Thank you.
My husband and I discovered Neme Gastro Bar in Miami by chance after leaving the Nicaragua vs. Venezuela baseball game, and it turned out to be such a great surprise. The place is beautiful. The dim lighting, the atmosphere, and the live music create a really special experience. It feels cozy, elegant, and perfect for enjoying a night out. The food was excellent. The octopus was delicious, the tostones with avocado were amazing, and the fish truly impressed me. I honestly have never had fish prepared the way they do it here. The flavor was incredible. The food took a little time to arrive, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The staff was very kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. We left truly impressed and we are already planning to come back. This place definitely deserves 5 stars.
First time at Neme Gastro-bar and loved it. Primarily went because on Monday's everything in the menu is 50% off. Didn't expect for the place to have such a great vibe with live performances. From the food to the drink, everything was suparb which is rare nowadays. When we arrived the place was full and we were seated on a sofa in the second level until a table became available. The servers were also great. After midnight the place turns into a club with a live dj. There is a rear outdoor area where people can enjoy their drinks, play dominoes or smoke a cigar. Definitely a must visit. We had sangrias, fried tuna chunks and grilled octopus.
