Yes the location was great because it's right on Ocean drive and next to the CVS . However for as much as I paid, it wasn't the experience I thought it was going to be. The elevator was slow, small & a bit raggedy. Sometimes I wasn't sure if the door was going to open to let me out. Get inside the room and there's slight visual damage but it was clean. It's the 1st hotel I've been in with a mirror that small, and there was only 2 mirrors, a small wall mirror and the ring light mirror in the bathroom. I thought the TV didn't work but there's only about 8-10 channels and when I turned the TV on it didn't have a signal, I thought it was broke. I tried to call the front desk to notify them about the TV but the phone had no connection so I had to go downstairs. I was told the phone company was coming the next day to fix the phones but of course nobody came, the phone didn't work the whole 3 days I was there. Lastly I had a very early checkout at 5:30 am. No one was found at the front desk. I went searching in the back where the laundry room is looking for someone but it was empty. I had to go so I left a sticky note with my name and room number on it. Definitely needs to be updated. That was a $300-$400 stay, not a $600+ stay that I paid.

I had a great time at Beacon South Beach! I was worried reading all the terrible reviews but my stay was amazing! Free beach towels, beach chairs, and bike rentals. Highly recommend the free bike rental!! Rooms had everything I needed. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating! They held my bags before and after I checked out for free. The restaurant had great food and you get a discount if you stay in the hotel. Highly recommend if you want an affordable stay on Ocean Drive, steps away from the beach. So walkable, great vacation!

The moment I have spoken to Ms Ynez the front desk I already felt like my stay was going to be something special—but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the incredible service at the front desk, especially from Ms Ynez. Ms Ynez turned it into such a warm and welcoming experience. She greeted me with genuine kindness, a beautiful smile, and a level of professionalism that immediately put me at ease after a long journey. It wasn’t just about getting my room key it felt like being personally welcomed into a place that truly cares about its guests. What stood out the most was how attentive and thoughtful she was. Ms Ynez took her time to make sure everything was perfect, patiently answering my questions, offering helpful recommendations, and making sure I felt comfortable and valued. You can tell when someone genuinely loves what they do, and it reflects in every interaction and that’s exactly how she made me feel. In a world where customer service can sometimes feel rushed or impersonal,Ms. Ynez reminded me how meaningful a simple, kind interaction can be. She set the tone for my entire stay, and because of her, I felt not just like a guest but like someone truly welcomed and appreciated. If you ever find yourself staying at the Beacon South Beach Hotel, I truly hope you get the chance to meet Ms Ynez. She is a gem, and the hotel is lucky to have someone like her representing them. Experiences like this are what make a stay memorable. Thank you, Ms Ynez, for your kindness, your warmth, and for going above and beyond. You made my stay in Miami even more special.
