I had been looking forward to visiting this establishment during my stay here in Miami—as a matter of fact, it was my second time coming here. The quality of the customer service and food was impeccable! I sat myself at the bar where the bartenders tended me—shoutout to Walter for providing a great experience. I decided to order from the Miami Spice prix fixe menu and it was such a great experience getting to eat all three courses. Yes, I even went ahead and got the Beef Wellington for extra—worth it! Overall, I’m glad to come here on vacation especially during Miami Spice. I’ll think about this place again in my future Miami visits.
Our expectations were far exceeded at Hells Kitchen. We figured the food would be good, but we're blown away by its quality, service and the atmosphere of the restaurant. We ordered from the Prix Fixe menu so we could try some of the well known dishes; pan seared scallops, beef Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding. We of course had to add some lobster risotto! Saying everything was delicious is an understatement, all the food was memorable! Some of the flavor combinations were surprising, like pea puree...who would ever think pea puree would taste good with scallops?! It was fantastic! There is a ton of hype about Gordon Ramsay, all his cooking shows and cooking expertise...Hells Kitchen validates all of it, it's 100% legit.
The food and service here was truly exceptional. The service was incredible and we felt truly well taken care of. The waiter noticed that my wife was left handed and placed every utensil on her dominant side. I got up to use the restroom and my napkin was neatly folded when I came back. We forgot our leftovers and the waiter immediately brought them over to us before we left. You can’t replicate or replace this level of service. The food was incredible and we had an empty plate after every dish. My wife had the carrot soup and the filet mignon. She ate every drop of both. I had the lobster risotto and the Beef Wellington. Both were absolutely delicious. They even brought out our dessert with a candle and congratulations chocolate for our anniversary. The level of service and food was immaculate and rivals fine dining without the arrogance or stuffiness. The restaurant does add a 20% service fee so keep that in mind. The service was so good I decided to leave an extra tip as well. Our reservation was at 6:15 pm and the restaurant wasn’t too busy at that time but it quickly filled up to full capacity.
I made a dinner reservation for 1 at Hell’s kitchen during my recent trip to Miami! I ordered the set price dinner menu for $115. I added the Pear and Ginger Cocktail ($19) that genuinely was a 10/10. With taxes and the service charge my total was $171.51USD (about $250CAD at the time unfortunately). The beef wellington was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes were amazing! The sticky toffee pudding was shockingly the star of the show - the best I’ve ever had. I wish I could have tried more dishes but I would definitely go back and try the risotto and a few other dishes. Service was AMAZING! I did think dinner was a bit pricy for one person but the service made up for it. I recommend going for the experience!
We loved the experience and trust me, the experience is what you're paying for. The beef Wellington had good flavor BUT the mashed potatoe yes singular because there may be ½ of a potatoes worth on the plate. The Mac and Cheese was amazing. The Brussel Sprouts were really good (I typically will not eat this food). The braised scallops were also very good. The service was great, now I will say we were seated next to a group of 3 individuals from the corporate offices in NY that were there inspecting this particular HK so it may have had a little to do with why the service was so good.
