We absolutely loved CJ’s Crab Shack during our stay in South Beach✨ The food was so good that we ended up going back a second time, which says everything. We tried the spinach and crab dip, the fish tacos, and the grouper, and every single dish was delicious. The spinach and crab dip was the perfect starter, and both the fish tacos and grouper were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is relaxed and chill for dining in South Beach. If you’re in the area and looking for great seafood, I would recommend giving CJ’s Crab Shack a try. We’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in Miami🏖️
CJ’s Crab Shack was a fun, easygoing stop. The oysters weren’t the best I’ve ever had, but for the price of a dozen, they were absolutely worth it. I loved that they offer a snow crab cluster as an appetizer add‑on — it was fresh, flavorful, and honestly the highlight of the meal. The shrimp tacos were another win, topped with fresh avocado and pico de gallo. Their piña coladas taste like something straight off an island, and our server, Carlos, was upbeat, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with. The staff overall was warm and welcoming, and I appreciated having both indoor and outdoor seating options. Definitely check out their happy hour — and don’t be shy about asking for a to‑go cup for that second drink. ~Cheers
THE BEST SEAFOOD I HAVE EVER HAD. I am not from here so I rarely have crab, but I guarantee it was extremely bussin. Drinks were amazing, you can add a shooter to almost any cocktail and the service was impeccable. We made a reservation and were seated immediately and received our food in under 20 minutes. Seriously amazing!
CJ’s Crab Shack was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Miami. The atmosphere was relaxed, colorful, and perfectly fit the beach vibe. From the moment the food came out, everything looked fresh and packed with flavor. The fried shrimp basket was crispy, hot, and seasoned perfectly without being overly greasy. The street-style corn on the cob was easily one of the highlights — buttery, smoky, and covered with just the right amount of seasoning and cheese. The shrimp pasta was rich, creamy, and loaded with shrimp instead of just a few scattered pieces like a lot of places do. The garlic bread paired perfectly with the sauce and made the meal feel comforting while still having that vacation seafood feel. The drinks were also excellent. The frozen cocktails were bright, refreshing, and strong enough to actually taste the alcohol without overpowering the flavor. They looked great too, especially sitting outside with the palm trees and ocean atmosphere nearby. Service was friendly, food came out quickly, and the overall experience felt worth the price. CJ’s Crab Shack nailed the balance between tourist spot and genuinely good seafood restaurant. I’d absolutely come back next time I’m in Miami.
CJ’s Crab Shack was amazing! We ordered the King Crab, Snow Crab, Drunken Shrimp, and the Garlic Parmesan Bread—everything was delicious. The crab was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the Drunken Shrimp had an incredible, rich sauce (even if they were a little tough to peel!). We loved sitting outside—it’s such a great spot to take in all the Miami Beach action while enjoying a great meal. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The Mango Colada was sweet, refreshing, and absolutely excellent. And their 2 for $20 drink specials during happy hour are unbeatable. Plus, the King Crab was very reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend CJ’s Crab Shack for delicious seafood, great drinks, and an awesome Miami Beach vibe!
