Reading some reviews made me slightly nervous for my visit. You have absolutely nothing to be concerned about. The rooftop pool is beautiful, the lobby is welcoming, they even secured my bags until check-in. The room was perfect, you don’t need to be tech savvy to run the iPad, I was a female traveling solo and felt very secure staying here. Thank you for an amazing night sleep before a week cruise.
Perfect for a no frills, overnight or weekend get away for the price and location, walking distance to most of what you would need to see. The rooms are quite small on purpose. Picture a micro camper, only the hotel version. The public spaces including the rooftop pool were inviting and well appointed, and the staff were pleasant. The miserable breakfast buffet was definitely a no for me though, and trying to reach the hotel directly for overnight parking suggestions was just as underwhelming(meaning impossible).
We booked two rooms for six nights with our family. The hotel is brand new and very well located in South Beach. The staff is friendly, speaks both Spanish and English, and was very helpful throughout our stay. As for the rooms, they are small, but you get used to them very quickly. I liked the concept of having everything connected to an iPad in each room. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and our floor was very quiet. For those complaining about noise—there’s not much you can do to prevent people from talking in the hallways. The breakfast, at $25 per person, is a very good deal. It includes scrambled eggs, good pastries, fresh fruit, and delicious Greek yogurt with berries. We had dinner one night on the terrace—nothing fancy, but good snacks like empanadas and nachos. They also allowed us to keep one room for a late check-out free of charge, so we could fully enjoy our last day. A very nice touch
We had a wonderful stay at CitizenM and truly loved the hotel. I especially want to give a shout-out to MZ and V, who helped us tremendously during a stressful situation! We had booked through Expedia, and our date change was not processed correctly, which resulted in our reservation being marked as a no-show and ultimately canceled. You can imagine our surprise when we arrived and no longer had a room. Thankfully, V and MZ at the front desk were calm, reassuring, and incredibly helpful. They quickly assisted us in securing a room and resolving the refund for the original charge. It was truly a class act in customer service. What could have been a frustrating start to our trip turned into a smooth experience thanks to their kindness and professionalism. Overall, we were very impressed with the entire team -the bartenders, housekeeping staff, and everyone we interacted with. It’s clear this is a great group of people providing excellent service. Thank you again!
there are too many amazing things to say about this place! They truly have thought of everything, my stay couldn’t have been more accommodating and perfect. The location is perfect walking distance from beach, shops, food and is also in close proximity to Miami airport. The rooms are simple yet have everything to accommodate your needs. There’s even a little mini fridge under the sink, hairdryer, tissues, and lots of towels. The shower bathroom space is just perfect. The room and the beds are extremely comfortable and the TV even has chrome casts so you can display your own media from YouTube to Spotify. Plus you can control all of the lighting and make it fun colors with the iPad that’s in the room. You can control the Blinds. The rooftop pool is a great space with lots of towels and space to sit and enjoy the rooftop. the lobby has everything so many spaces to sit and work. There’s even a station to fill your water bottle and plenty of charging stations. I just cannot say enough great things about this hotel and I will be coming back for another stay in the future.
