I really enjoyed my stay at the Clifton in Miami Beach. It’s a quaint little hotel with a charming atmosphere. Everything was spotless, and I especially appreciated the fresh, high-quality towels and comfortable linens. The room was well maintained, and the overall cleanliness made my stay comfortable and relaxing. I stayed here during a layover before departing on a cruise, and it was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a little vacation before boarding the ship. The hotel is in an excellent location—you’re literally just one block from the beach, so it was easy to relax and soak up the Miami Beach atmosphere. There’s also a lovely Cuban restaurant right across the street, and a Walgreens on the corner, making it incredibly convenient if you need a meal or any last-minute essentials. Everything is within walking distance. Getting to the cruise port was quick and easy with an Uber, which made the transition from hotel to ship completely stress-free. I absolutely loved my stay and would definitely recommend the Clifton to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and perfectly located place to stay in Miami Beach—whether you’re spending a few days exploring the area or looking for the ideal place to stay before a cruise. Love, love, love this hotel, and I would happily stay here again!
Clean, safe, and in a wonderful location. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including AC, a fridge, shower amenities, and other essentials. The beach is only a 1–2 minute walk away, and having a room code instead of a keycard made it so easy to go to the beach without worrying about losing a card. The location is perfect, within walking distance of Lincoln Road shopping, Ocean Drive, and South Pointe. Mauricio and Ernesto were extremely welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. They even helped carry my suitcase to the second floor and messaged to make sure everything was going well with my travels. As a solo female traveler, they made me feel very safe and comfortable staying at the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
I had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect, with restaurants, shops and coffee all around and just a block from the beach! The room had it all, from a comfortable bed, to a great A.C, great shower and despite being in the heart of Miami beach, it was peaceful! The hosts were incredibly kind & welcoming! If you’re thinking of booking, this is your sign to do so! I 1000% recommend! :)
Great location!! Close to the beach & all my fav restaurants! It is self check in, which is very convenient & efficient. I felt safe & I got plenty of much needed rest. The owner, Ernesto, was kind enough to come to my door & check in with me to see if I needed anything, which left I letting impression on me. 1 Day I left my room unlocked and slightly cracked for hours by mistake. no 1 entered my room, none of my belongings were touched. As a solo traveler, my safety & comfort is #1 & I definitely will be back! -Netta M.
Mauricio and Flavia are amazing!! They both checked in on me my entire stay! Made me feel welcomed. This hotel is beautiful and so clean! It’s walking distance to the beach and ocean drive. About a 10 minute walk to Lincoln. The directions to check in are very simple and easy. The shower was my favorite part. The water pressure and temperature was GREAT! The bed slept great. Very soft pillows. I can’t wait to stay at this hotel again. 10/10 no complaints at all!!
