If you're going on a cruise, here's your place. Cruise shuttle $10pp. Close to port, easy to get to from the airport (take Uber or Lyft, not a taxi) and even though it's in the thick of downtown, it's still quiet? My husband wanted pizza, there's a NY style pizza place across the street. There's a CVS down the street on the corner within walking distance in case you forgot anything. We saw a Dollar General on the other corner, but didn't go in there so I can't tell you what all that store consisted of (it's not a full DG).
Good location, surrounding area under development. Eye appeal loading. Walkable area. Room met expectation for price paid. Had a hiccup at check-in, Asst Mgr K. Thornton helped out, very thankful!!! HOT WATER IS NO JOKE, LOVED IT. Cleaning service 8th floor very good deserves recognition. Parking good. Bed comfortable. Would stay again for the right price.
Amazing service and stay! As a part of 4 we notified the concierge we would be in around 2am from Fort Lauderdale, and they were more than ready for us! They gave us a complimentary room upgrade, and sweet goodie bags with water in it for our 9 hour stay. They also held our luggage while we explored downtown before boarding our cruise. Cannot recommend this place more, it’s a wonderful location and such friendly staff!
This hotel was nice, but the price you pay for everything was not worth it. It is located downtown about 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the Port of Miami. They don't have an airport shuttle, but they do have a shuttle to the Port for $10/person. Our room was ok. It was on the 5th floor and faced another building. The room was humid and smelled mildewy. The beds and pillows were decent. However, downtown is extremely loud. They even provide a sound machine to help drown out the noise, which didn't help much. You hear sirens and cars revving their engines all through the night. The pool is only open 7am-7pm and they only have an outdoor pool. The restaurant and Starbucks in the lobby are overpriced. I will say it is centrally located and the service was amazing.
