I first went to Lapis about 12 years ago and the facility was amazing. Since then it appears they have not made any changes at all and the facilities are overall poorly maintained and dirty. Nobody is cleaning up after the guests use towels, etc. the trash was filled to the brim in the waiting area. Then the alarms kept going off during my treatment. It was disappointing. If you are looking for a nice spa day, I would look elsewhere. It needs major updates and better housekeeping.
This was my second time visiting Lapis. I noticed it was dingier than it was a few years ago. The grout in the women’s section looked dirty, the rain shower was closed with no explanation as to why, the tubs in the women’s section looked unkempt. The robes were cheap and had no pockets. It was just dated. Unlike the first time I visited the Lapis spa, the snacks were just oranges and apples, unsliced. Before this, the fruits were sliced, there were heartier snacks like nuts as well. The saving grace was the massage- my massage was fantastic. I received the 50 minute CBD massage and my therapist was WONDERFUL. My massage therapist didn’t rush and did a fantastic job. It was so relaxing. I wish I had heard her name, but she had dark colored hair and spoke Spanish.
The service wasn’t bad, my massage itself was just okay. The amenities just aren’t there. No champagne, no delicious snacks, no viral rain showers. The main pool and pool on the men’s side was nice. However, the women’s side was much smaller and the hot tub did not work.

Pamela is the epitome of professionalism and true mastery of her craft. From the moment the session began, it was clear that she possesses exceptional skill, intuition, and care for her clients. I received a 50‑minute Swedish massage, and I can honestly say it was the best massage I have ever had in my life. I left feeling completely renewed—mind, body, and soul. Pamela’s technique was flawless, thoughtful, and incredibly effective. Her attention to detail did not end with the massage; she ensured I was properly hydrated afterward and took the time to explain the importance of post‑treatment care. That level of attentiveness speaks volumes. Pamela is truly a diamond and a gem—someone the entire Lapis Spa team should be incredibly proud of. We are currently staying on the 19th floor with breathtaking ocean views, and this spa experience elevated our entire stay to another level. I will be returning again tomorrow before our departure, and my wife and I will absolutely be back after our next long work month. Thank you to the entire Lapis Spa staff for such a remarkable experience—and a very special thank you to Pamela for making our anniversary unforgettable. I will be recommending her to everyone I know. Get ready. Simply outstanding.
